Emma Stone and director Will Gluck must be riding high on the success of "Easy A," the teen flick that garnered a grand reception from both critics and audiences. Fortunately those of us who were fans of the movie, the dynamic duo are working together on another upcoming rom-com that we're super excited for: "Friends With Benefits" (the one with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis).
Though Justin will soon make girls to swoon as Sean Parker in "The Social Network," Emma said she had a great time being the woman who got to break his heart. "I gotta tell you, breaking up with Justin Timberlake is really fun," she told MTV's Kara Warner. "It's a feel-good time. He's such a nice, funny guy. It was really fun. We had a good time."
While he's making a splash in the film industry, JT can never truly say byebyebye to his pop-star persona. Emma said she would hear a hum or a scat escape Justin's lips every once in a while on set, but that must have been because Justin was saving his serenades for director Will Gluck.
"He sings everything," Will said. "He sings when we're waiting to shoot, he sings when he's pointing out paparazzi, he always sings everything. The funny thing is, unlike other people humming, every time he sings, you're like, 'That's Justin Timberlake! He's singing a song about "the boom just hit me in the face"!' and it could be a pop song if he does it right."
He added that he would often have to get the crew to stop focusing on Justin's singing and concentrate on their work. We think we would definitely have some concentration problems if Justin Timberlake was singing and dancing only feet away from us. In fact, we would definitely have some problems focusing.
"He does like to sing, and he's good at it," Will said. "And even when he does a little dance [to go along with the song], he's good at it."
Are you excited to see Emma Stone as an evil ex in "Friends With Benefits"?
