Gabourey SidibeFor Elle's 25th anniversary edition, which hit newsstands today, the magazine celebrates 25 women in their 20s who they feel are bound for greatness. Of those women, four were chosen to grace their own covers: Megan Fox, Lauren Conrad, Amanda Seyfried and Gabourey Sidibe.

Gabby's cover, however, has caused a bit of a controversy because of the way she is framed on the page and how different it is from, in Salon.com's words, the "wispy, white trio." The "Precious" star appears from the neck up, while Megan, Lauren and Amanda's full bodies are shown.

Salon's argument is that Gabby should have been presented in the same way the other three were, but EW's Popwatch counters that the magazine chose a cover shot that would flatter Gabby best and, let's face it, she does look glowing and beautiful! So we're asking your thoughts on this. Do you think that Gabby's Elle cover is inappropriate and should have been modeled the same way as the other three, or do you think it's not a big deal that they chose a potentially more flattering picture of her to use? Weigh in after the jump!

Werewolves are so hot right now. Ha! We'll be here all week, folks! Anyway, so yeah, werewolves. They're everywhere! From "True Blood" to "The Vampire Diaries," they're having a moment, no doubt, so what better time to launch a new show all about the hirsute horrors? MTV's upcoming series, "Teen Wolf," a remake of the classic 1985 flick, premieres early next year, but the series' stars say you shouldn't confuse their redo with its inspiration.

"We're definitely doing our own thing," star Tyler Posey told MTV News while on the white carpet at Sunday's VMAs. "We are doing a remake of 'Teen Wolf,' but it's almost nothing like the original movie. We've got our own thing going on."

Sometimes I wish I didn't go to Northeastern University for college...or at least waited a few years. After all, the university totally missed capitalizing on the blaze of pop culture sweeping the nation! While I was busy taking the most mundane Japanese film class you could ever imagine (it was so bad), someone out there will be learning about zombies!

Yes, you read that right. Zombies!

I'm talking about University of Baltimore's newest class offering: English 333. Studying society by utilizing the undead, students get to watch 16 classic zombie movies, read comics involving the monsters (*cough* "The Walking Dead" *cough*) and, for a final, have to write a script for their own zombie projects. The worst part (for me) is that they aren't the only school doing something like this.

Vampire DiariesMystic Falls can add one more notch to its theoretical Vampire Population sign. Yep, Caroline's a vampire (game changer, indeed, Kevin!). Wow! When she awakes in the hospital after her Katherine attack she's feeling rather…hungry, and starts lusting after another patient's blood drip. Initially thwarted by a nurse, she finally secures a bag of the red stuff to quench her thirst.

Meanwhile, since Mystic Falls is always busy with cliché small town events, Elena is running a carnival. Bonnie questions her about Katherine (who was a complete no-show this episode), but Elena doesn't have answers and changes the subject. "I'm human, and I have to do human stuff,' Elena says. 'Otherwise I'll go crazy!'

Stefan and Elena promise to try to have a normal evening with "no 'D' word." Since cute Stelena moments are rare in drama-stricken Mystic Falls these days, it's pretty adorable to see them share a sweet moment.

Miranda CosgroveWhile most people start their day with a cup of coffee or an infuriating commute, director-producer-reality television judge Adam Shankman began his with the cast of "Glee" (you win again, Shankman!). He tweeted to followers in the a.m., "Woke up today, and smiled and prayed today #glee shoot is as fun as yesterday. Huge days, but the best cast and crew." But he made sure to give "Gleeks" some news that was bound to make any theater kids' day, as he posted, "Pics from set forthcoming...and get ready to have ur halloween time warped!!!" Week after week on "True Blood," beefy star Joe Manganiello set our hearts racing as contractor and Sookie protector Alcide Herveaux. Oh, and he just so happens to be a warm-blooded werewolf too, albeit, one of the non-people-eating, good guy variety. Yet, we couldn't help but wonder what effect Lady Gaga's meat dress had on the star during Sunday's Video Music Awards, where he served as a presenter.

"She looked delicious!" Joe said with a laugh when asked by MTV News' Tim Kash if the flesh frock made him hungry. Good thing Debbie Pelt and Cooter weren't in attendance, or Miss Gaga would have had a real were problem on her hands!

Which "True Blood" character would you like to see wear a meat dress next season?

My GenerationWith the start of the new TV season right around the corner (and some of our favorite shows, like "The Vampire Diaries," already on the air), we're tuning our channel to fall television all week long on Hollywood Crush! In our "TV to Talk About" feature, we'll highlight a new show each day that we're super-psyched to see. Weigh in and let us know what you think too!

TODAY WE'RE TALKING ABOUT... "My Generation"

PREMIERES: Thursday, Sept. 23 at 8/7 C on ABC

STARS: Mechad Brooks, Julian Morris, Daniella Alonso, Kelli Garner, Jaime King, Keir O'Donnell, Anne Son, Sebastian Sozzi, Michael Stahl-David

PREMISE: In 2000, a fictional documentary filmmaker followed nine students (the jock, the rich kid, the beauty queen...you get the idea) during their senior year at Greenbelt High School in Austin, TX. As you've probably learned from the series' ubiquitous ad campaign, "A lot can happen in 10 years," which is why the filmmaker reappears in his subjects' lives a decade later to find out what they're up to. Fledgling marriages, illegitimate children and wartime politics are all fodder for this reflection on Gen Y's eldest members.

This weekend, it's all about the battle of Blake Lively vs. Penn Badgley. No, the adorable "Gossip Girl" couple haven't split, they just both happen to have movies opening this Friday! While the two flicks, "The Town" and "Easy A," respectively, couldn't be more different, both are already getting rave reviews ("The Town" is "certified fresh" at 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and "Easy A" is making the grade at 75%).

Blake (whose previous film work includes "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants") stars in the gritty Boston bank robbery drama as Ben Affleck's (he also directed the movie) former flame. She appears alongside a few other Hollywood heavyweights (and, we can all agree here, hotties) such as Jon Hamm and Jeremy Renner.

There's no denying vampires and werewolves have enraptured us of late. But society's interest in the supernatural is nothing new. Cinematic history is chock full of flicks focusing on otherworldly beings. With more than a year (!!) until our favorite vampire franchise returns with "Breaking Dawn," we're passing the time by revisiting movies featuring creatures that go Bump In The Night or BITN (get it, bitten?).

September Is BITN By Vampires!

This week we're taking a look at "Bram Stoker's Dracula," the adaptation of the classic novel that gave us a sexed-up and terrifying look into the world's most famous vampire.
