If you prefer your Hollywood hotties on the "blood-soaked" end of the spectrum, you'll want to tune into this year's Spike TV Scream 2010 Awards on October 19th—where all your favorite ghosts, ghouls, scaremongers and scream queens will gather to honor the best in this year's sci-fi, fantasy, comics and horror films. Even Kristen Stewart, favorite prey of vampires everywhere, will make an appearance on the event's red carpet.
Kristen has earned a nomination for Best Fantasy Actress, even though a few hard-nosed horror fans are arguing that "Eclipse" doesn't really deserve a spot at the Scream awards. (Clearly they've never been sitting in a crowd of teenage girls during Taylor Lautner's shirtless scenes. Talk about screaming.) And she'll be joined by other screamingly fabulous (haha, see what we did there?) celebs including Megan Fox, "Star Trek'"s Chris Hemsworth and "True Blood" hottie Alexander Skarsgård, who's vying for "Best Horror Actor" honors alongside co-star Stephen Moyer.
The cast of "Scream 4," including Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere will also be on hand to present never-before-seen footage from the upcoming flick.
We just hope they've got strong stomachs—because apart from the acting awards, Scream 2010 will also be handing 'em out for achievements like the wittily-named "Best Scream-play" as well as in some more, uh, colorful categories like "Most Memorable Mutilation." Ewwww.
