If you haven't heard of Melissa de la Cruz's urban vampire series "Blue Bloods," that's probably going to change very soon. Hollywood Crush managed to get our hands on the exclusive book trailer for the fifth novel in the series, "Misguided Angel," which will premiere in theaters this weekend, and we are definitely intrigued.
The trailer doesn't show us much—a female vampire bound to a chair, struggling to be free—but then the words "On the eve of the shadow crescent, watch the vampire burn" come on the screen. And it's clear that things are bound to get a little crazy in this latest novel.
"Misguided Angel" picks up right where the previous "Blue Bloods" novel, "The Van Alen Legacy," left off. The books' leading lady Schuyler Van Alen had fled to Florence with her love, Jack Force, and now she is tasked with finding and protecting the seven gates that guard earth from Lucifer, lord of the Silver Bloods. A release teases, "As the Blue Blood enclave weakens yet further, fate leads Schuyler closer to a terrifying crossroads—and a choice that will determine the destiny of all vampires."
The novel is set to be released on October 26 (two weeks from today!), but if you can't wait that long for its release, you can Vamp Yourself on Facebook and get your "blood test" results.
