After taking a week off, "90210" picked up exactly where it left off. Officially deflowered, Ivy wakes up next to Oscar as Dixon, still in that same American Apparel hoodie (that I almost bought a few months ago, so it weirds me out to see Dix in it—not sure he is who I would want for a style twin) arrives at her house to finally admit the truth about his HIV scare. Twelve hours too late, Ivy tells Dixon she has to think about things.
Mr. Matthews invites Naomi over to meet new baby Jack-Jaques. While it stills feels icky and degrading to see Annie’s mom working as an assistant to Jen, it’s nice that she at least doesn’t take any sh-t from her. While Silver and Naomi ogle the baby, they talk about Naomi's rape (obv), which Jen hears on the baby monitor. Jen becomes, understandably, livid and Ryan finally admits he crashed into the school sign last year. (Not as satisfying as I thought it would be to hear him confess though.) Matthews tells Naomi he will come forward and pushes her to press charges against Cannon. I don't think a drunk teacher, who is also the father of the victim’s nephew, testifying that he saw the blinds close will go very far…but you never know in TV land.

The only thing better than a gorgeous blond drama queen with a sordid past and an axe to grind is... two of them. So we've been pretty excited about last week's literary news that our favorite evil twins, Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield of the "Sweet Valley" series, are coming back in "Sweet Valley Confidential: Ten Years Later"—a new book, set a decade after the twins graduated high school, that finds them estranged and living on opposite coasts. The book drops next spring, and today, Hollywood Crush has an EXCLUSIVE look at the preview for the next big thing in "Sweet Valley."
The short clip opens up with a smooth jazz riff and the pretty pastels of previous "Sweet Valley High" books lined up onscreen, with a title overlay informing us that "A lot can happen in 10 years..."—then changes to tease us with the question, "Which Wakefield twin will move to New York City?" (Which is then followed by a series of stock photos depicting a taxi, the Empire State Building and a row of purply drinks in long-stemmed glasses, just in case you don't know which "New York City" they mean.) According to the trailer, you'll have to read the book to find out!

Who should play Katniss? It's a question that's been swooping around the internet like so many Mockingjays. Reports indicate that scripts have gone out to both "Skins" star Kaya Scodelario and "Nikita" actress Lyndsy Fonseca for the part of "The Hunger Games" heroine. And there are always those Chloe Moretz rumors. But if you remember back to the summer, Hollywood Crush suggested a trio of actresses for the part, with top billing going to "Vampire Diaries" star Malese Jow.
Malese read "The Hunger Games" not long after and fell in love with Katniss tweeting, "Reading #HungerGames.. SO good! If they do it up right, the movie will be awesome. If I may.... #MaleseForKatniss!! ;)" Ever since, Malese fans have been clamoring for the 20-year-old to step into the arena. We thought we'd check in with Malese to see if she was any closer to landing a role in the much-anticipated flick.

Never say that you'll never care about Justin Bieber, because the trailer for his upcoming documentary "Never Say Never" just might change your mind. Biebs baby videos? Check. Concert performances in 3D? Check. An introspective look on our new digital lifestyle? Allegedly. But if skeptics thought a documentary about a 16-year-old would be a joke, well, Justin did warn them to never say never.
But really, can we just take a second to talk about that first video clip in the trailer? Justin couldn't have been more than three or four years old, and in an ultra-squeaky little kid voice says, "I'm Justin and this is how I drum!" Then he proceeds to put down a beat that most of us probably couldn’t do on our best day.

Some of the "Glee" cast did exactly what so many of you did this weekend: closed your eyes tight and screamed your way through "Paranormal Activity 2"! Lea Michele brought her cast mates Chris Colfer and Harry Shum, Jr. along for the spooky ride, as the actress posted, "Paranormal Activity with @chriscolfer&@iharryshum! I will be sleeping with the lights on tonight! @chriscolfer you're the best date ever:)" Chris (pictured with Lea) was clearly spooked by the weekend's No. 1 flick (it scared up more than $41 million) as he tweeted, "The little of Paranormal Activity 2 I saw through my fingers was terrifying. Why did I put myself through that experience???"
Thankfully, there's nothing scary about Taylor Swift's newest album called "Speak Now." It's already getting raves from fellow singers, including Kate Voegele who wrote, "Congrats to adorable @taylorswift13 on the new record release! It was part of my starbucks order this AM
http://twitpic.com/30t4bv." "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale seemed to really dig Taylor's tune that's rumored to be about John Mayer, when she told followers, "Dear John- Taylor swift .... Ufdvgjgf freaking amazing."

Who would ever have the gall to turn down a record deal proffered by star-maker Simon Cowell? Well, according to internet rumors, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson, that's who. A story today in the British newspaper The Sun claims Rob turned down an offer from the former "American Idol" judge saying, "I play according to my mood, and sometimes that can come across as very depressing in music. He is a clever guy and he created artists that he knows the public will like, that's why I don't think he could ever launch my music career." However, when MTV News reached out to Robert's management for comment, we were told there was no truth to this story. It's just "another headline generated by the internet," his manager wrote in an email.
It's not surprising rumors of a record deal would follow Robert. After all, he did score two songs in the first "Twilight" movie, "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign," and played a fledgling band boy in "How to Be." However, the actor has always been a bit evasive about a potential music career, telling the L.A. Times in 2008, "Music is my backup plan if acting fails. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket." With the success of "The Twilight Saga" and upcoming turns in "Water for Elephants" and "Bel Ami," it doesn't look like Rob will have to sing for alms any time soon.
Do you hope Robert will one day pursue a music career?

Every once in awhile, a book comes along that reminds me why I fell in love with the medium in the first place. Transports me to another time and place, forces me to cancel/rearrange all my plans until I finish, and makes me grateful for the wonderfully creative people in the world who put their brilliant words to page. Now, despite my voracious appetite for fiction and non, there have only been a handful of these wholly engrossing reads. "Harry Potter," "Game of Thrones," "The Mortal Instruments," to name a few and now, "The Hunger Games."
I'm late to the party on this, I know, but as of last weekend, I am totally and obsessively on board. Never mind the fact that Suzanne Collins' story alone is absolutely captivating, jarring and heartbreaking all at once, but our heroine Katniss Everdeen is quite possibly THE best female protagonist ever.

Far be it from "Glee" star Jane Lynch to sit idly by and watch her young costars have all the fun. Days after Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith's racy GQ cover caused a kerfuffle, Jane is posing in her own PG-13 shots for More magazine.

Will Jane's photoshoot with three sexy, scantily clad men cause the sort of controversy that would force her to issue an apology letter? We're guessing no. But what we are treated to is a cute look into the modest and quaintly settled life of the woman behind Sue Sylvester. Talking about her recent marriage to psychologist Lara Embry, Jane said she accomplished two things that would make her mother proud: "I got married—and I married a doctor!"

Hilary Duff is turning over several new leaves, and we could not be happier. The former Disney-starlet-turned-"Gossip Girl" has kicked-off her career diversification with a gritty romance, "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde," and a young adult novel that we really enjoyed. Now she's signed on to the indie flick "She Wants Me," which is definitely not a film we would have pegged her to star in even just a year ago.
According to Variety, the movie just started filming in Los Angeles and New York City. It's not that the plot of the film is something that's especially different from Hilary's previous rom-coms; it's director Rob Margolies's unique treatment that's piqued our interest.
