Ryan GoslingThe best interview/photo shoot combo we've seen all day can be summed up in two words: Ryan Gosling.
And two more: Leather jacket.
And three more: IN THE RAIN.

Ryan, looking sweet, soulful and (woohoo!) saturated, is featured in November's Interview magazine. But as hot as the wet T-shirt contest is, the real treat is the accompanying interview—conducted by the famously funny Steve Carrell—in which Ryan talks about moviemaking, the Mickey Mouse Club and what it takes to make him laugh.

Ryan has been busy lately, finishing up filming on two movies: the hotly anticipated (and for now NC-17 rated) drama "Blue Valentine," and a comedy called "Crazy Stupid Love" to be released in 2011. As a veteran of the indie film circuit, the mainstream comedy might have been a challenging departure from his usual roles —but Steve (his costar in the latter movie) praised Ryan's comedic acting chops, and for his part, Ryan has a very specific idea about what makes a movie funny.

Zuzanna SzadkowskiBoo! Did we scare you? No? Okay, well, maybe a fright-night feature will get your knees knocking. In anticipation of Halloween, we asked a slew of celebrities to suggest their favorite scary movies to get you in the mood for the ooky, spooky holiday.

You probably know today's guest blogger, Zuzanna Szadkowski, best as Blair Waldorf's ever-faithful maid, Dorota, on The CW's "Gossip Girl." Which flick gives Zuzanna the creeps? The classic "Rosemary's Baby"!

"Rosemary’s Baby" is a masterpiece of horror and my all-time favorite movie. I have always wondered what happens next door to me or down the hall, and the secret about Rosemary’s neighbors blows my mind. This film is an eerie amalgam of witches, Satan and all things dark set against the backdrop of a haunted 1960’s New York City.

From her performances in hit comedies like "Superbad," "Zombieland," and most recently "Easy A," there's no doubt that Emma Stone is one of the finest female comedic stars of her generation. So it was about time the folks over at "Saturday Night Live" finally caught on and asked the 21-year-old star to host an episode. Here's what we thought of Emma's "SNL" debut from this weekend:

Things started out rather strong with a monologue that poked fun at how Emma has become the object of many a nerd's affections thanks to her roles in raunchy comedies and being cast in the upcoming "Spider-Man" movie. "SNL" cast members Kenan Thompson, Bill Hader and Andy Samberg all played geeked out admirers hoping to make out with Emma, while Bobby Moynihan and Taran Killam dropped in as her "Superbad" costars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera (newbie Taran totally nailed Michael's awkward mannerisms, wouldn't you say?) Check out the full clip below:

Well, it doesn't look like Katy Perry will be kissing anymore girls. The "Teenage Dream" singer and her boyfriend of more than a year, salty British comedian Russell Brand, were married Saturday evening in a ceremony in India.

"Russell Brand and Katy Perry are overjoyed to confirm that they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on Saturday, October 23," the couple said in a statement sent to MTV News. "The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couples' closest family and friends, was performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of the Hudson Family [Katy's maiden name]. The backdrop was the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India."

The newlyweds took to their respective Twitters on Sunday to announce the news personally, writing, "WE DID!" accompanied by a Twitpic of what appears to be Silly Bandz in the shape of their names. (Fun wedding favors, perhaps?)

Lo BosworthWith only nine days left until Halloween, celebrities took to Twitter today to talk about the all-important question of costumes. (Hey! If we all dress up as celebrities for Halloween, shouldn't they return the favor by dressing up as us?) Greg Grunberg of "Heroes" started it off by asking his followers for costume suggestions, then came back a few minutes later to add, "I would go as @scottgrimes or @bobguiney but I've decided to butch it up this year. No dresses or wigs. Help!!"

Oooh, burn. Actor Scott Grimes came right back, tweeting, "Did you say bitch it up?" Twitter war! Meanwhile, Michelle Branch was gracious when she learned that she'd be Hallow-twinsies this year with fellow singer Bonnie McKee, tweeting, "Found out that @bonniemckeee and I are Halloween soul mates. We basically have all the same costumes picked out :) What are y'all gonna be?" And "Hills" star Lo Bosworth (pictured) is less worried about her own costume and more focused on what her four-legged friends will be wearing while trick-or-treating, tweeting, " Happy Friday!!!! I love dogs in costumes, bahahah"... with a link to "The Lo Down" roundup of the sluttiest canine Halloween costumes.

Sex and the CityIt's a big day for "Sex and the City" alumni. Hot on the heels of news Michael Patrick King is writing and directing a Home Shopping Network-themed comedy starring Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey and Sandra Bullock, comes word that "SATC" actress Kristin Davis scored a deal of her own—on TV. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kristin will star in a half-hour NBC comedy called "The Happiness Project," about a woman's mission to become, duh, a happier individual. The series is based on a memoir by Gretchen Rubin, a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. This news got us wondering which other "SATC" stars we'd like to see back on the small screen. Cast your vote after the jump for the actress (or actor!) who should score a TV deal next!

If you're looking for a good New Year's Eve date a full 14 months in advance...well, something is very, very wrong with you. (Really dude, it's not even Thanksgiving yet.) But hey, if you are, we've got the perfect candidate: Lea Michele of TV's "Glee," who, according to E! Online, is thisclose to signing on for her very first movie role in the follow-up to last year's ensemble hit "Valentine's Day"!

The movie is supposedly slated for release in December 2011, and it's called (you guessed it) "New Year's Eve." But call it a rumor for now; there's no official "go" from parent company Universal, and no word yet on whether the stars of the previous film—including Crush mainstays like Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift and Bradley Cooper—will be reprising their roles. That makes Lea one of the first major names to be even tentatively linked to the production. But it's no surprise to hear that she's been tapped early; E! reports that director Garry Marshall wanted her on board in a major way.

Hmm. Wonder if he subscribes to GQ?

Will you be psyched to see Lea on the big screen?

According to legend, Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, and Sandra Bullock are like the Coke and Pop Rocks of Hollywood—put them together, and the resulting surge of ladypower will be so explosive that it brings on a worldwide apocalypse. Dogs will meow! The entire western half of the continental U.S. will break off and fall into the ocean! Kanye will leave Twitter!

Well, be forewarned because Michael Patrick King—the writing, directing, and producing force behind "Sex and the City"—has it in his head to make a film starring all three of these grand dames of the entertainment industry, Deadline reports.

And they've agreed to do it! The end is near!

Today's double feature? A lingerie model and a "Scream" queen. And, no, this isn't the synopsis for the latest fright-night flick (though one lady's outfit did makes us shudder and want to cover our eyes). This week's Style Superstar finds Victoria's Secret beauty Adriana Lima channeling Cinderella and teen star Emma Roberts showing some back at Elle's 17th Annual Women in Hollywood event. Keep reading to find out which one takes home this week's glass slipper.

Emma may be only 19 years old, but she's already a burgeoning fashionista and easily wins this week's best-dressed honors.
