Kim Kardashian is just one of the many celebs who have vowed to die "a digital death" and stay off Twitter and Facebook tomorrow, December 1 (which is World AIDS Day). It's all in the name of raising awareness and funds for Alicia Keys' charity Keep a Child Alive. In order to revive your favorite tweeting stars (including Lady Gaga, Usher and Justin Timberlake), you've got to make a $10 text message donation (for instance, as Kim explained, "when u text "KIM" to 90999 that u reply "YES" to confirm your donation to @keepachildalive!") to help reach the $1 million goal. Kim urged fans before her Twitter departure, "I'm kinda sad that all of my social media will be dead tomorrow and I won't be tweeting. I love u guys! Bring me back to life soon!" Meanwhile, Alicia's husband, rapper Swizz Beatz, wrote from his page, "12midnight I shut down my twitter to save people from AIDs! I will only tweet about raising $ for the people."
Luckily, before so many of our favorite stars say goodbye to Twitter, they made the best of their final hours. Nina Dobrev gave "Vampire Diaries" fans something to ponder about her and Ian Somerhalder (both pictured) when she posted, "Its going to be a Killer scene @iansomerhalder ! Pun intended. HA! Take whatever you want from that tweeterverse... :P." It seems her other co-star Matthew Davis had some news for Ian and fans, though, as he tweeted, "BEWARE: @Ninadobrev is a wicked little forest nymph who takes much delight in her devious tendencies... You've been warned."

OME, only four more days until "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" hits stores on DVD! Should we dub this auspicious day Sparkly Friday in Edward's honor? After all, Jacob got his own spending-spree holiday last week. (That is why they call it Black Friday, right?) While the judges reach a verdict, today we're coming at you with the No. 4 reason we're pumped for this particular film to hit home video.
Yesterday we talked about the DVD special feature that allows fast-forwarding to all the Edward or Jacob scenes in the film (swoon!), but today we're all about the special six-part making-of documentary. Mum's been the word on what the documentary actually entails, so we decided to ask director David Slade if he could give us a little preview of what fans can expect.

Hilary Swank might not be the first person you'd think of when asked for a list of fashion-forward celebs, but you've gotta admit that she's got style. The Oscar-winning actress has rarely seen the wrong side of a Best-and-Worst-Dressed slideshow, and even when she makes less-conventional dress choices (like the high-necked, long-sleeved, surprise-backless navy number she wore for her 2005 Best Actress coup), she always looks impeccable on the red carpet. So while "Pat Sajack, but hotter" wouldn't have been our prediction for her next role, it's not totally weird that Hilary has been tapped to host a fashion-related game show on The CW.

The next few weeks are big ones in the world of music and movie releases—particularly for the Blu-Ray and DVD markets hoping to capitalize on all the holiday shopping happening. Personally, I'm a big fan of DVD/Blu-Rays as gifts. They make great stocking stuffers, and they're perfect for last-minute occasions! But I digress...all this talk of DVD releases is to remind all you Crushers that today's big release is the other vampire-centric movie of the year, "Vampires Suck." To celebrate this excellent occasion, we have an EXCLUSIVE clip for your viewing and LOLing pleasure.
In this scene, "Becca Crane" gets a self defense lesson from her father. I'd like to point out here how funny I find the leading characters' names to be. Those who've seen the film already know, but Becca Crane? Come on, that's funny! Her last name is a bird too! Like "Twilight" leading lady Bella Swan. So pun-ny. And Edward Sullen? Jacob White? I love it. Anyway, in the clip, Becca's dunderheaded dad announces to his daughter that a body was discovered drained of all its blood, full of bite marks, so there is a killer on the loose.

In our minds, cutie-pie Reese Witherspoon has never aged a day beyond her role as a bubbly, pink-wearing law student in "Legally Blonde"... which is probably a side effect of having seen the movie approximately 3 million times. But according to Reese, the real fun doesn't start until later in life—like, after 30! Gracing the cover of January's Glamour in a sophisticated Burberry dress with flashy leather accents, she opens up about feeling confident, being funny and all the things she likes better than making movies.
At this point, it's standard practice to ask any actress over the age of 25 how she feels about getting "older," what with Hollywood's notorious practice of kicking the less-youthful to the curb. But for Reese, things only get better—and sexier—with age.

Last night's Gotham Awards in New York City were a special treat for us. Not only did we spot some of our faves on the red carpet, including Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, but for the first time in what seems like ages, the carpet wasn't flooded with teeny-tiny mini-dresses. Shocking! Maybe it was the weather (but probs not since we saw a lot of shoulders and very few jackets), but most of our gals wore demure, black, knee-length looks. Keep reading to find out who was a dream in dark hues and who was just a snooze.

We can't help it, we absolutely love it when a celeb steps out in a look that's somewhat attainable. So when we heard Natalie wore Lanvin for H&M, we were all over it. While we couldn't find the exact one-shoulder dress that she wore to the event on H&M's site, we did find one that's dangerously close for $200. Not bad for red carpet ready, right? Natalie's "Black Swan" co-star Mila pulled off a similar (but totally out of our price range) look on the carpet in a strapless LBD by Oscar de la Renta that had some serious attitude. We loved the sleek black belt and the fact that Mila topped off the edgy dress with a casual up-do.

We're nearly half way through the "90210" season, so it seems as good a time as any for the kids (and adults) to start swapping dating partners. Keeps the show fresh, ya know?
Navid woke up in Silver’s little backyard house (this is at Kelly's, right?), which BTW is totally cute, but also really weird. Although if I had the option of living in my own mini-house when I was 17, I would've done it in a heartbeat. Anyway, flirty banter ensues (if you can qualify whatever Silver does as "flirting"—I think that's what it is) until Adrianna calls. Adrianna's new fame is kind of hilarious. She tips off the paparazzi to her whereabouts, DMs Ashton Kutcher on Twitter and thanks her "non-famous" friends for being there for her. Alas, it's also obnoxious and shallow. She has become a parody of a character with few human qualities. She would serve much better on the periphery delivering one-liners, but until then, we have to wait until Navid finally breaks up with her for Silver. Has everyone realized that Silver has basically dated everyone in their circle of friends? Even the dude who left for Montana, Ethan.
Also dating is Deb. After her sexy night with Ryan, which they decide can go no further, Mrs. Wilson lets the kids put up an online dating profile for her. Dixon goes through some incredible photos of Deb lying on a pillow and eating a banana before choosing her profile picture. Annie makes an appearance strictly on behalf of the group lobbying to bring back suspenders and makes a coffee date for her mom with a man with chronic back pain. Thankfully, Mom runs into Matthews on her way to the bathroom and cures her *cough* boredom.

Here's something "Vampire Diaries" fans can sink their teeth into: The hit CW show may be getting a "companion" series. E! Online and Deadline simultaneously broke the news that Kevin Williamson is writing a new, one-hour drama pilot focusing on paranormal researchers that is being described as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" meets "The X-Files."
Though a script hasn't even been penned, Deadline reports that it is unlikely characters from this new project will find their way to Mystic Falls (i.e. don't get your hopes up for a cross-over episode full of Kevin Williamson win). However, the series may still get a second hand from "The Vampire Diaries"—Kevin's co-creator/executive producer Julie Plec may also sign on to the series.

"Glee" kicked off its second season with a roster of encore-worthy fresh faces, including Chord Overstreet, John Stamos and Dot Jones. Yet, one much-talked about newbie has been missing in action since the closing credits of the first episode—that pint-sized girl with the powerhouse pipes, Charice (a.k.a Rachel's glee club nemesis Sunshine Corazon). Last we saw of Sunshine, she had been whisked away by rival club Vocal Adrenaline, and we have yet to receive one call from her on our Telephone. Will Sunshine take center stage on the Fox musical series again? Charice says yes.
During a live web Q&A session today with Billboard.com, the 18-year-old singer-actress revealed that she'll return to the "Glee" set—likely in January—to begin shooting again. However, she couldn't have been more vague about the details.
