Last week, we sat down with Nina Dobrev to dish all things "Vampire Diaries," from Elena’s relationship with her two boys (Stefan and Damon, obvi) to scoops on future episodes, Nina was pretty much game for anything. So, of course, we wasted no time getting the dirt on Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Jeremy's (Steven R. McQueen) budding romance (or what appears to be a budding romance).
Now, if last Thursday's episode was any indication, J and B are totally headed for a love affair (or at least a make-out sesh). After all, they spent a lot of "quality" time together while trying to save Elena, only to discover that they were both lonely souls in need of a little lovin.’ Who can blame them anyhow? Jeremy hasn't dated since Anna (Malese Jow) died, and Bonnie has been left to handle the world of witchcraft without a shoulder to lean on. These two deserve some happiness!
That being said, we couldn't help but wonder how awkward a potential relationship between Bonnie and Jeremy would be for Elena. I mean, we're talking about her best friend and her younger brother here! Luckily for the would-be lovebirds, Nina said that if anything were to develop, Elena probably wouldn't even notice!
"I think that Elena is so stuck in save the world, save my brother, save my friends and try to save myself and try-to-be-normal-at-the-same-time mode, that she's kind of oblivious to everything else that's going on around her," Nina told us. "It’ll be interesting to see once she comes back to normalcy."
Of course, Nina's answer left us with even more questions. Who is she trying to save the world from? (Klaus, perhaps?) When will she return to normalcy? And does her answer confirm that a relationship is actually in the works? I guess we'll have to keep watching to find out for sure!
