Zach Gilford"Friday Night Lights" fans got an unexpected surprise as one of the show's most beloved stars, Zach Gilford (a.k.a. Matt Saracen), finally joined Twitter! The actor was welcomed aboard by one of his former co-stars from the 2009 movie "Dare," Emmy Rossum. The actress wrote from her page, "So excited that my good friend the WONDERFUL actor @Zach_Gilford is now on Twitter! Say hello and follow." It seems many tweeters did just that as Zach (pictured) noted, "Every time I refresh my page my follower # rises. This is insane! Thanks guys!"

Elsewhere in the Twitterverse, stars were gearing up for tonight's hotly anticipated New York City premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1." The film's fashionable leading lady Emma Watson posted over the weekend, "That's London done, now off to New York! Wearing my favourite trench that Christopher Bailey @Burberry designed for me. Love it!" Meanwhile, famous fans of the series were just as excited for the big night, including Olympic skater Johnny Weir who tweeted, "Harry Potter premiere tonight!" and Matchbox Twenty lead singer Rob Thomas who told fellow "HP" fans, "heading out later to go to the HARRY POTTER premiere. i expect some magical s*** to ensue." And don't forget, we'll be live blogging tonight's premiere for you guys!

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, leading couple of "Glee," have always energetically denied that there's anything other than a purely-platonic vibe between them. Well, okay, but they do look awfully comfy canoodling between the pages of this month's Teen Vogue—and between that and the adorable, finishing-each-other's-sentences jiving in their joint interview, we just can't help ourselves. We're totally rooting for a romance between them.

Of course, the pair say that they're used to it—in fact, the whole cast has been plagued by rampant speculation as to who's dating who, leading Lea and Cory to bait the gossip-hungry masses with the idea of a cast-wide orgy.

Reason No. 547 it's great to be a girl: nearly limitless accessory options. Silk scarves, dangling earrings, colorful headbands, chunky rings...you get the idea. Unfortunately, for the not-so-fair sex, outfit additions are a bit more limited. Yet, the stylish men among them know how to work one bold accessory to perfection. The accessory we always go gaga for? A great pair of glasses, which is why we couldn't help but notice that a handful of "Glee" studs have become four-eyes recently. Leading man Cory Monteith donned a pair for the "Rocky Horror Picture Show"-themed ep last month, while costars Chord Overstreet and Mark Salling were spotted at events sporting dark-rimmed specs. We're kind of swooning over all of them, but we want to know what you think! Which "Glee" star do you think looks best in glasses? Cast your vote after the jump!

The "Harry Potter" film series has catapulted its young stars from unknowns to global superstars over the past decade, and none of its actors have felt the change quite so much as Emma Watson. From auditioning at age 9 with no professional acting experience to being one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood at age 20, Emma has blossomed into one of the most beloved and respected young British actresses around.

The penultimate film in the "Harry Potter" franchise, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," hits theaters on Friday, and fans will get a chance to see the Emma they've known and loved on the big screen once again. But with her new pixie haircut and Brown University education, Emma has already started to evolve off-screen into someone entirely new.

Scarlett JohanssonSure, few things are as certain as death and taxes, but we think it's almost always a sure thing that Scarlett Johansson will be named to someone's sexiest women of the year list. So it's little surprise that the actress was crowned GQ's "Babe of the Year" in the December issue, which hits newsstands November 23.

It has indeed been a big year for Mrs. Ryan Reynolds. Just this weekend, she racked up her third stint as "Saturday Night Live" host (loved the "Millionaire Matchmaker" sketch!), her May superhero release "Iron Man 2" did gangbusters at the box office, and she scored a Tony for her role in the Broadway play "A View From the Bridge" opposite Liev Schreiber. Did we also mention she made out with Sandra Bullock?

Natalie PortmanIt looks like Natalie Portman had so much fun filming her friends with benefits romantic comedy "No Strings Attached," that she decided to write her own version. The Los Angeles Times blog 24 Frames announced that Natalie and her college friend Laura Moses wrote a script about two twenty-something women who decide to throw a bring-your-own party, except instead of bringing alcohol or cookies, the attendees are supposed to bring their own eligible bachelor.

Natalie is set to star as one of the leads in the film, called "BYO" (for Bring Your Own, obvi), and 24 Frames is reporting that Anne Hathaway is interested in starring as the other. While we're psyched about the idea of those two ladies starring in a film together, we're even more excited about the idea of Natalie transitioning from an actress to a screenwriter. It got us thinking about our other favorite ladies in Hollywood who act and screen-write.

If you were worried that the news of ex-husband Nick Lachey's recent engagement would send Jessica Simpson right off the deep end, you'll be glad to hear that the Texan bombshell won't have so much as a moment to dwell on it...

Because she'll be too busy planning her own wedding.

Jessica had reacted graciously to the news of her former flame getting hitched, but she's not one to be outdone, either—as evidenced by yesterday's announcement that she's engaged to NFL player Eric Johnson, just five months after the two began dating last May. And though she wouldn't go so far as to call Eric "the one" in a recent interview, her description of their relationship as "just normal" might have been the first hint of a lifelong commitment to come; after the harsh spotlight of "Newlyweds," high-profile heartbreak at the hands of Tony Romo and a relationship with the douchey John Mayer (who publicly described Jessica as "sexual napalm"—classy!), "normal" sounds kind of nice.

Kim KardashianWe're not even half way through November, but already stars are preparing for the winter spirit. Melissa Joan Hart tweeted that she was "heading to Radio City to see the Christmas Spectacular! So excited!!," while singer LeAnn Rimes was greeted with the ultimate sign of winter: snow. "There are tiny little snow flurries outside!!!" she tweeted excitedly. We want to go to there!

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian (pictured) continued to express her excitement for this weekend's "Skyline" by explaining her dream from last night. "Dreamt about the movie #Skyline," she wrote. "My sisters got sucked into the ship and the aliens were after me. So creepy! But can't wait to see it!" The film's star, Donald Faison, teased his followers by tweeting, "What are you doing this weekend?" and then responded to all of their excited tweets back about going to see his film. To our surprise, he hasn't tweeted at Kim about her enthusiasm for the film, but I'm sure if she likes it they'll end up being BFFs soon enough.

Be sure to check out the rest of today's best tweets from the stars, including Emma Roberts giving Gwyneth Paltrow's "Glee" performance a shout out and Hayley Williams sharing her favorite hot beverage! Follow us @hollywoodcrush to get even more celebrity and pop culture news around the clock!

Our Style Superstar usually highlights the week's best and worst dressed, but we're making an exception this time around. You see, both "Harry Potter" starlet Emma Watson and singer Rihanna caught our attention in striking outfits, and we simply couldn't decide whose we liked best. So instead of devoting space to a worst dressed, we're making the case for each actress' outfit and asking you to tell us who deserves the top spot!

Emma was the epitome of chic at the London premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" wearing a black Rafael Lopez dress, which featured a see-through lace top and feathered bottom. The dress was definitely a risk, but the young actress (she's only 20!) pulled it off with ease and grace. We loved her style so much that we scoured the web to find out how to get a similar look for less. Oh, and how could we not mention the pixie 'do? It was seriously cute.
