It's not too much of a stretch to say that Anne Hathaway is a very strong contender for this year's Best Actress Oscar, and her "Love and Other Drugs" director Ed Zwick (pictured with Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne and Hank Azaria) knows it. "Wasn't she badass? Wasn't she good? She'd be in [the race] because of her performance," Ed assured me when we sat down to chat about the upcoming release.

Though audiences won't see the film until November 24, I can vouch that Anne's performance is pretty impressive. Ed agreed that her turn as tough-yet-vulnerable Maggie is akin to her previous Oscar-nominated performance in "Rachel Getting Married," adding that Anne has really hit her stride as an actress.

Looks like Courtney Ford is the latest actress to be bitten by the vampire bug. She recently appeared on "The Vampire Diaries" as Duke graduate student Vanessa, and now she's the latest actress to come on board for "True Blood"'s fourth season. Just like on "The Vampire Diaries," Courtney will be playing a human character surrounded by vampires, but we're hoping her stint on "True Blood" lasts a bit longer. Deadline reports that she will be playing Portia Bellefleur, the stiff, lawyer sister of Detective Andy Bellefleur.

For those of you who have read the "Southern Vampire Mysteries" novels, you know that Portia's first appearance serves a very particular purpose in the Sookie-Bill romance. Considering the two of them weren't on the best of terms when season three finished, we could see Alan Ball cooking up a very similar plotline for the television series.

Getting to sit down for an interview with "Morning Glory" star Rachel McAdams would be a nerve-wracking moment in any entertainment reporter's career. What if you stutter? Say the wrong thing? Become so overwhelmingly star-struck that you spontaneously combust, but not before vomiting all over your shoes?!

But for MTV's Josh Horowitz, sitting down for this one-on-one chat with the actress had him worried about something else: stamina.

"If you have 10 percent of your character's spirit or attitude, then I feel like I'm going to be exhausted by the end of the interview," he joked, as Rachel settled in to talk about her role in the upcoming film.

"I'll try to stay in my seat!" she replied with a laugh.

There are few men that get Hollywood Crush's temperature rising quite like Ryan Gosling. I mean, did you see those arms? And like a fine wine, Mr. Gosling only seems to get better with age. Today is the actor's 30th birthday, but since his publicist won't give us his home address or cell phone number for some reason, we're unable to deliver our present to him (the Hollywood Crush staff wrapped in a big red bow, of course). So instead, we're gifting you with this delectable image of the Oscar-nominee at the premiere of his drama "Blue Valentine." Cancel your next meeting, cause you'll want several moments to fully enjoy this photo.

Of course, with the passage of another year, comes the impulse to reflect. Unsurprisingly, when we look back at Ryan's stellar career, a lot of highlights emerge. In fact, it seems the star has yet to make a cinematic misstep—he continually picks roles that delight ("The Notebook"), engage ("Half Nelson") and intrigue ("Murder by Numbers"). It's sort of hard to pick our favorite Ryan Gosling flick, actually, so we're turning to you, Crushers. Vote for your favorite Ryan Gosling movie after the jump. (Hey girl, he'd want it that way...)

If you're anything like us, you'd die to have Emma Watson's lacy black frock from yesterday's London "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" premiere hanging in your closet, and now you can. Kind of.

While Emma’s Rafael Lopez dress, which featured a sheer lacy top and feathered bottom, cost over $5,000 (a little out of our price range), we dug up a similar option (complete with pumps and dangling earrings just like the ones Emma wore!) that's much more affordable.

How did it take two pop-cult phenoms like Lady Gaga and Edward Cullen so long to collaborate? It's a mystery, for sure, but if you're a fan of the zeitgeisty sensations, then you owe a debt of gratitude to the Hindi sisters. The pint-sized producers behind The Hillywood Show just released their third "Twilight" parody (this time of "Eclipse"), and let's just say Washington's vampire population is getting a taste for Little Monsters.

The 10-minute spoof opens on Bella and Edward deep in conversation atop Edward's newly purchased canopy bed (oh la la!). Ethereal chanting wafts in the background. That is, until Bella bursts into full Gaga mode (black leather and ridiculous headpiece included), belting out "Bad Romance." It is, indeed, a "Bad Romance," not only because a healthy, loving relationship between a human and a vampire is almost unheard of, but there's also a third-wheel werewolf to contend with. In fact, the line, "I don't want to be friends," crooned by Taylor Lautner's doppelganger is pretty much the definition of apropos.

We knew something was up with this episode before it even began. During the "Previously on 'The Vampire Diaries'" opening, producers finally acknowledged that we may have watched the series before! Yup, instead of opening with Stefan's "For over a century I have lived in secret" speech, the recap merely began with last week's events. OMG! Thanks for recognizing that we're devoted "TVD" fans who know by now that Stefan's a vampire.

Anyhoo...the flashbacks have returned, but this time we go back further and farther than ever before: Bulgaria, 1490s. Katerina gives birth to a child, but her father promptly takes the baby away before she can even hold it.

Stefan invites Elena over so Rose can tell her about Klaus. I know you hardcore book fans hate when I make "Twilight" comparisons, but Klaus is basically Aro—the oldest, most powerful vampire. Despite everyone’s concern, Elena appears unruffled and leaves for school.

Demi MooreDemi Moore turned 48 today, and as one of Twitter's most popular users she got plenty of love from her followers and celebrity friends. "Don't forget to wish @mrskutcher a happy birthday!" her hubby, Ashton Kutcher, announced to his followers, while Victoria Beckham and Nicole Richie both sent her birthday tweets. "Thank U all 4 the wonderful birthday wishes!," Mrs. Kutcher tweeted back. "Please take a moment to honor all the men & women past & present who have served our country!"

And so they did, though it probably wasn't because the birthday girl asked them to. Celebrities from Snooki to Justin Timberlake to Amber Riley celebrated America's veterans. "Happy Veteran's Day! To celebrate, those of us who didn't serve have to run five miles with backpacks full of shitty TV dinners," joked comedian Michael Ian Black, while Ryan Seacrest sent his father his love with the tweet, "My dad is a vet, he served in the Army many years ago... his stories are incredible. So proud of him and the service he gave."

Be sure to check out the rest of today's best tweets from the stars, including Kim Kardashian looking for a date to "Skyline," Julie Plec and Ian Somerhalder teasing tonight's episode of "The Vampire Diaries" plus stars heading to the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" London premiere! The latest footage to debut from "Burlesque" is a touch of "Devil Wears Prada" and a touch of "Moulin Rogue." Seeing how much we love those flicks, we're keeping our fingers crossed that "Burlesque" does not disappoint. The clip opens with Stanley Tucci schooling Christina Aguilera on wigs, and then we get a taste of the "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend"-esque musical number "I Am a Good Girl."

Reclining on a chaise lounge in the stage at Cher's apparently very sophisticated burlesque club, Christina sings about her dress that's Chanel and her shoes that are YSL. Apparently, her bag is Dior and her lingerie, Agent Provocateur! (Oh, that old game of rhyming some of our favorite designers!) However, Xtina wants you to know one thing: She's a good girl who didn't do anything frisky to get those designer duds.

A bowler-hat-wearing Cam Gigandet lovingly looks on from behind the stage as his good girl shimmies and shakes throughout the club, rambling on and on about all the fancy stuff she gets just by being a good girl, even as she lets loose dancing sexily atop the bar. We mean this is a burlesque club, we expect some sexy moves.

Stars played it safe and experimented with lace at the world premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" earlier today in London. The event's most ubiquitous accessory? Poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day, a British holiday honoring the soldiers who died in World War I. Despite the somber reminder, reigning fashionista Emma Watson was all smiles as she ruled the carpet with costars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.

Hermione would never dare wear this sexy dress, but Emma pulls it off with ease. On another young starlet, a lace-and-feather frock could look skanky or garish. Paired with simple black platform pumps, minimal accessories and a pixie ’do, however, this ensemble on Emma earns an A+. She also deserves accolades for her flawless makeup: softly smoked eyes, nude lips and a hint of faux tan. 10 points for Gryffindor!

Ginny Weasley wouldn’t wear Bonnie Wright’s outfit either, probably because it’s so drab. Come on, Bonnie—we know what a budding fashionista you are! You don’t always look fabulous, but we can usually count on you to make a statement, which makes this matronly look that much worse. Bonnie’s saving grace? Matching red lips and nails, which add a youthful hint of color to her shapeless dress.
