If you saw "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" over the weekend, you probably finished watching the film more than ready for "Part 2." Unfortunately, we have to wait eight more months until the final "Potter" film hits the big screen, but considering the source material has been out for more than three years, we have a good idea of what we can expect.
As the years have passed and our favorite young wizards have grown, there has been plenty of romances blossoming in the hall of Hogwarts. The final film of the "Harry Potter" saga is not only home to the epic final showdown between Harry and his arch nemesis, but it also features the culmination of all those love stories we've been watching develop for a decade. There are plenty of scenes we're looking forward to finally coming to life on the big screen, but our sappy romantic hearts really just can't wait to see our favorite couples get together onscreen. Here are our most-anticipated moments:
"Glee" is following up last week's super-fun episode, "The Substitute," and its surprisingly delightful guest performance by Gwyneth Paltrow, with an equally high-caliber guest star: Carol Burnett!
Thanks to a chance encounter with the show's music supervisor PJ Bloom at last week's Hollywood Music in Media Awards, I have a few juicy details to share regarding Carol's appearance and another future episode.
"[Carol] plays Sue [Sylvester]'s mom," Bloom told MTV News. "It's going to be fun. One of the best things we've been able to do with 'Glee' is the exploitation of the show tunes. We do our pop songs, we do our classic songs, but what we've been able to do with American musicals has been fantastic. And I think this is an under-explored area of pop culture. It's stuff that the kids care about, clearly, because they've responded so incredibly to the musicals we've done. What we've been able to do for schools, musicals in schools have been great."
Translation: This week's episode will be loaded with showtunes.
"This next episode with Sue and Carol Burnett is going to explore quite a bit of that, which is fantastic," he said.

We've been hearing a lot about the awesome friendship shared by co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway ever since they finished filming their upcoming steamy romance, "Love and Other Drugs"—but we didn't know just how awesome it was until the pair sat down for a chat with MTV News. Faced with their first question from Josh Horowitz, Anne and Jake put their easy rapport on great display...by making merciless fun of their interviewer.
Josh starts out with a standard question: Which actor, Anne or Jake, should we be looking out for on an upcoming episode of "Glee"?
Anne starts to answer, but Jake jumps in with a complaint directed at Josh: "The way you're talking is creeping me out."

We've got to hand it to Taylor Swift—the girl knows how to keep people talking. A few weeks ago, all the chatter centered around her new album, Speak Now, and speculation about which celebrity exes (John Mayer? Taylor Lautner?) were the subjects of her revealing songs. Just when the attention began to die down, the country cutie got our gums flapping again, debuting a brand-new look at last night's American Music Awards. The usually frilly dresser opted instead for an edgier look, swapping out her ethereal, candy-colored gowns for a dark, embellished Collette Dinnigan mini-dress. Even more eye-catching was her new 'do—eschewing her signature ringlets, Taylor flaunted a stick-straight style accented by heavy bangs.
While the look was quite the departure for Miss Swift, we couldn't help but be reminded of a few other starlets who've sported a similar style throughout the years. Check out a few entrants from our banging blonds inspiration photo gallery:

Editor's Note: After posting this story, we received a statement from Disney debunking the LA Times piece used as our source:
"A headline in today’s LA Times erroneously reported that the Disney fairy tale is a thing of the past, but I feel it is important to set the record straight that they are alive and well at Disney and continue this week with Tangled, a contemporary retelling of a much loved story. We have a number of projects in development with new twists that audiences will be able to enjoy for many years to come." - Ed Catmull
Hollywood Crush regrets the error.
This weekend was all about "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," but if you managed to tear yourself away from your first or fifth viewing of the penultimate film about the Boy Who Lived, then you might have heard some disconcerting news regarding another upcoming release. Disney's "Tangled" is hitting theaters this Wednesday, and the Los Angeles Times announced yesterday that it would be the Mouse House's last fairy tale adaptation for the foreseeable future. Not exactly a vote of confidence.
Coming off the box office disappointment that was "Princess and the Frog," it's easy to see where Disney is coming from with their cautious attitude about "Tangled"'s success. In fact, it seems like they're being a bit desperate about the film. First they ditched their idea to make the film solely about Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) and instead focused the story around the Han Solo-esque Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) in an attempt to draw a larger male audience; then they changed the name from "Rapunzel" to "Tangled" to complete the makeover. The original "Rapunzel" storyline was reduced to its basic elements (the princess, the tower and the hair), and even the typical Broadway-style music was replaced with guitar solos and "handmade music."
All that's fine and good, and I agree that Disney definitely needs to step up their game to compete against the "Iron Man"s and "Transformers'" out there (the films that were described as Disney's blockbuster competition). But for a girl who grew up worshiping Disney's princesses and loving their take on classic fairy tales, it's a bit terrifying to think that the Mouse House is giving up on the films that made them a success to begin with.

We'll be the first to admit we spent the better part of our teen years obsessing over the Backstreet Boys (BSB) and New Kids on the Block (NKOTB). We knew the lyrics to all of their songs, taped their posters to our walls and fought over which one we'd marry. And who could blame us? They were so cute. Of course, it's been a couple of years, and we totally thought we were over that stage. That is until the two groups (who are planning a tour together) joined forces and stepped out for the 2010 American Music Awards, reminding us what it was like to be a 13-year-old with the biggest. crush. ever.
Now, back in the day, our boys would attend events in matching outfits topped off with funky hairstyles, but now they're all grown up and, thankfully, their style's matured, step by step. Both boy man bands arrived at the AMAs suited up and ready to tear up our hearts. Most of the guys opted for a modern look with silver blazers (NKOTB's Jordan Knight looked especially dapper in his) and skinny ties (we're loving Joey McIntyre's). And then there was BSB's A.J. McLean who opted for a fedora. Gotta love the old-school throw-back. Also, we can't help but point out that Nick Carter, who was always quite the BSB heartthrob, totally held on to his title by leaving the top few buttons of his dress shirt unbuttoned. We want it that way, for sure.

It was a night of epic performances and countless wins, but where the 2010 American Music Awards really shined was the red carpet. From Rihanna's mesmerizing gown to Taylor Swift's brand-new style, there was no shortage of breathtaking looks and unexpected surprises, as many of our favorite celebs seriously stepped up their fashion game (although some took it a step too far). Keep reading to find out which stars owned the AMA red carpet, and which are still a work in progress.
Rihanna was gorgeous in an elegant, lacy, long-sleeved Elie Saab Couture gown. The maroon, floral frock, which she accessorized with a pair of hoop earrings, was one of the night's most extravagant and eye-catching. While RiRi was by far our best dressed of the night, her BFF Katy Perry came a close second in a light pink, studded, Badgley Mischka strapless gown. The look was tamer than usual for Katy (no blue wigs this time!), but we thought it worked well for her.

Many of today's hottest celebs weren't out at clubs or parties last night, in fact, they did what so many of you did: attended a midnight screening of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1"! "Modern Family" kiddo Rico Rodriguez stayed up way past his bedtime, as he posted, "Ohh ya! Tonight I'm staying up really late, guess we all know what that means...Harry Potter midnight showing!" while Chris Colfer counted himself amongst the many excited "HP" fans when he tweeted in the wee hours, "Midnight showing of Harry Potter down!!!"
Some theaters were crazy with "Harry" fever, like the one Colton Haynes experienced. "The Gates" star told followers, "Stuff is goin down at HP7 opening night, glasses, cloaks, and hermiones be gettin buck wild! Hope I make it out … http://twitpic.com/384gst." But we doubt any theater had as amazing experience as the one Tom Felton (pictured) showed up at! Yes, Draco Malfoy himself gave moviegoers the surprise of a lifetime when he, "just randomly walked into a cinema and introduced myself to the whole cinema before harry potter started! so much fun surprising them!"

Could we be anymore jealous of princess-to-be Kate Middleton? Not only did the 28-year-old land a prince of a fiance, but she's got a seriously gorgeous engagement ring to prove it! Kate stepped out with Prince William this week to announce the royal engagement, and the news wasn't all that got people talking; Miss Middleton's dark blue dress set tongues wagging too. Who else caught fashion watchers' eyes this week? Why, former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day! Yet, only one earned our admiration by proving her knack for effortless elegance, while the other majorly disappointed with a hairy misstep. Keep reading to see who this week's Style Superstar is!

Kate has big fashion shoes to fill as England's newest princess. After all, Will's mum, Diana, was the monarchy's unofficial fashion plate while she wore the crown, but it looks like Kate is more than prepared for her princessly duties. Case in point, her dress from the couple's engagement announcement in England on Tuesday was pitch-perfect. Kate wore a simple, dark blue, long-sleeved Issa London dress that was understated and elegant. In fact, the dress was such a hit that it sold out at British retailer Harvey Nichols in 24 hours!

The "Harry Potter" films aren't exactly known for their fashion flair, but we've definitely seen a progression of smart dressing choices over the course of the years. They didn't start out on the strongest note (oh, those Hogwarts robes!), but by the time we saw "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" we had to admit we were a little impressed.
In honor of just how far we've come since "Sorcerer's Stone," we've decided to take a look back at the best and worst fashion choices of the past seven films. Unsurprisingly, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger is on the "best" list a lot.
