The happily-ever-after announcement that Prince William and Kate Middleton will tie the knot in 2011 after eight years of dating, got us thinking about some of the grandest royal weddings to walk down the aisle of cinematic history. They're bold, beautiful (and sometimes gaudy), and we can't help but love them 'til death do us part. We bet you'll say "I do" to our list of favorite royal nuptials on film, too, but be sure to chime in with your own in the comments section as well!
Kirsten Dunst and Jason Schwartzman had a very, very formal ceremony when they married in Sofia Coppola's visually stunning, "Marie Antoinette." We hope that Kate and William have less of a hard time adjusting to married life than Marie and Louis did in the flick!

It's been a dark week for Emma Watson—sartorially speaking, that is. The "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" star has been busy showing off the midnight-hued contents of her closet at a myriad of "Harry Potter" events, and we've been fans of each and every look.

Last Wednesday at a "Harry Potter" photocall, the 20-year-old showed a little shoulder in a single-sleeved midnight blue Vionnet velvet dressed that she paired with Christian Louboutin pumps. A day later at the London premiere for "Deathly Hallows: Part 1," Emma flaunted our favorite dress thus far, a black lace and feather Rafael Lopez dress. And just yesterday, at the U.S. premiere in New York, Emma opted for black again with a custom-made silk Calvin Klein racerback dress. While the color palette was consistent, each outfit was distinctly its own. Which dress did you like the most? Cast your vote in our poll after the jump!
Crotchless panties, soap suds and child porn, "90210" is getting sexy lately…or gross, depends on what you're into, I guess. But either way, the kids of West Bev have a lot going on.
Annie’s relationship with Liam’s half-brother continues, although every time I see Charlie I’m surprised he’s still on the show. She starts hanging out with him and his college theater friends (including his ex), a real cerebral crowd who judge the validity and prestige of Carnegie Mellon based on its 15213 zip. Of course, Annie’s misguided interest in a Pittsburgh performing arts program, paired with her insecurity around the witty ex-gf can lead to only one thing: sex. Sex-pert Naomi, who is magically healed from her traumatic rape experience, jumps at the opportunity to help Annie with all things underpinning and edible. (She also convinces the girls to be friends with Ivy, which was nice.)

We already knew that Taylor Swift was ridiculously pretty and crazy talented...but, as always, she's so adorably normal in interviews that no matter how much we want to, we just can't hate her. Take the December issue of Allure: Even though she's looking perfectly dewy-eyed and pouty on the cover, Taylor reveals inside that, just like us, she used to buy into some seriously boneheaded ideas about how love works.
She confesses, "I used to think there were all these rules for making people like you. Like, the best way to get a guy to like you would be to actively ignore him. I was filled with advice! I’d tell my friends things like, 'Don’t accept that apology! That isn’t sincere! Or He hung out with his ex-girlfriend? Get rid of him.' But love is never that simple. Now I’m finally getting the idea it’s the one thing I don’t need to have a strategy for."

Could "The Notebook" musical be one step closer to a Broadway production?
Thanks to a newly released track from last October's workshop of the play, written by "One Tree Hill" star Bethany Joy Galeotti and music producer Ron Aniello, you can judge for yourself.
Bethany released the song as a reward for her Twitter followers, who successfully raised more than $2000 in one day for the charity Love146. The tune's called "Troublesome Tongue" and features Noah's dad and pals explaining Noah's childhood stutter to new love Allie (played by Bethany, who reminds us a little of Rachel McAdams' long-lost TV star sister—meaning she seems perfect for the role).
So how does the track sound?

In what's bound to be thrilling news for aspiring princesses everywhere, the word came from across the pond that a real-life fairy tale is finally on its way to a happy ending: Prince William, heir to the British throne, is engaged to longtime commoner girlfriend Kate Middleton. William reportedly obtained permission from the Queen as well as Kate's father before proposing, and a statement from the royal family confirms that the pair made their plans official last month while vacationing in Kenya, People reports.
Now that it's on, the couple probably won't waste much time with a long engagement. The wedding is likely to take place in 2011, which allows plenty of time to plan a lavish, extravagant party...but is also soon enough that William should still have some hair left for his bride to run her fingers through. Phew!

When it comes to "Harry Potter," actor Tom Felton tops our list. No, literally, he topped our list of the Top 10 "Harry Potter" Hotties, and it's a decision we've been thankful for ever since. Not only is Tom adorable, charming and sweet (just see the way he talks and acts around his longtime-girlfriend Jade—swoon), he is also an avid Twitter user, which is why we weren't so surprised when he read and retweeted our list.
Apparently he's always had a crush on us as well (thanks Tom!), and he told MTV News during the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" London press junket that he was "blown away" by being our No. 1 sexiest young "Potter" star. Little did we know, though, that he had another motivation for promoting the list. Hint: His name rhymes with Shmobert Shmatterson.

The Muggles have taken over Manhattan! First, Quidditch teams from around the world convened in the Big Apple over the weekend to compete for the Quidditch World Cup. Yes, really. Then, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" premiered stateside earlier this evening. As predicted, the movie's stars and a random assortment of celebs (who knew Liam Neeson was a Potterhead?) came out in fine form to catch the seventh "HP" flick.
Perennial belle of the ball Emma Watson made a splash on the red carpet, but not via lace and feathers. Instead, the Brown University sophomore opted for simplicity in a custom Calvin Klein black floor-length sheath. At first the look seemed overly simple for one of Hollywood’s hottest starlets, but then we saw the plunging racerback (gasp!) and the fabulous gold snake bracelet (double gasp!) and fell in love with Ms. Watson all over again. In keeping with the understated nature of the dress, Emma’s makeup was kept clean, fresh and pretty—very Calvin.
