Katy Perry had a big night at the Grammy Nominations Concert, both performing at the show and learning that she was nominated for FOUR (!) Grammys for her album Teenage Dream. Katy still felt like she was dreaming today as she took to her Twitter to make an early acceptance speech, "It's an AMAZING honor to be nominated & recognized by my other hard working peers tonight. So happy that I trusted my gut w/ this record...& thank u to all the AMAZING #TEAMKATY people I've been blessed to surround myself with... couldn't do it w/out u. It takes a village!" But she wasn't the only fierce female to become a Grammy nominee, as a stunned Sara Bareilles posted, "I GOT A GRAMMY NOMINATION!!!!!!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" and Paramore's leading lady Hayley Williams boasted, "Hey!! We got nominated for Best Pop Performance By A Duo or Group with Vocals for "The Only Exception"!!! WHATTTTT?!?! thanks 2 the academy!"
Some of music's biggest men had reason to celebrate the Grammy nominations as well. Best New Artist nominee Justin Bieber (pictured) shared his shock with followers, "win or lose...this is #CRAZY!! the GRAMMYS!!! #HOLYCRAP!!! WOOOHOOO... ARE U KIDDING ME!! #HOLYCRAP!!" Fellow first-time nominee Adam Lambert wrote his reaction, "Woah!!! Just got the news! A Grammy nomination?!?! I'm floored and honored. There are no words."
