With seven long months until the release of the second installment of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the first half of 2011 was shaping up to be an arduous, exhausting period of Potter Withdrawal...until a box set of the first six films showed up under the tree. Now, I can fuel my addiction by watching (and re-watching) the shenanigans of my favorite Hogwarts students until summer blockbuster season arrives. "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" on DVD
As a part of my Hanukkah presents, I received the "Eclipse" DVD. This wouldn't be terribly noteworthy, except I have the Canadian version, so the cover reads "La Saga Twilight: Hesitation." My French is pretty mediocre, but I still thought that's an odd translation of "Eclipse." Then, when I listened to the RPattz-KStew commentary (so weird but so awesome, right?), it was cool to hear Kristen's take on the different French title. —Jyll Saskin

Over the summer, Williams-Sonoma debuted some absolutely epic "Star Wars" cookie cutters that, as a huge cookie-baking aficionado, I immediately started lusting after.
