Christmas came early, Crushers! Hollywood has gifted us with a new Robert Pattinson trailer to go gaga over. Boy, but is there a lot in the "Water for Elephants" trailer to get excited about! Is it safe to say that this will be RPattz's biggest and best role to date?
The trailer (watch it after the jump) highlights the most important parts of this story: It's set in a circus, it follows a love triangle, it's ill-fated and it has elephants. However, this love triangle that Rob is involved in is a bit less complex than the one in "The Twilight Saga." Rob plays a new man joining the circus, and he falls for Reese Witherspoon's character, the circus' star attraction. The only problem is that she is married to the circus's head honcho, played by the villainously wonderful Christoph Waltz. Let the drama begin.

FROM MTV NEWS: Breaking up is hard to do. Just ask Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson. The preternaturally pretty pair announced Tuesday that they were separating after two years of marriage. While neither has filed for divorce just yet, it seems likely the newly single stars will re-enter the dating pool soon.
In fact, when we spoke with Patti Stanger, the no-nonsense star of Bravo's reality series "The Millionaire Matchmaker," she predicted the two would begin seeing other people as soon as next month.
"I think they're going to get back on the horse right away," she said. "I think they've been broken up for a while. Just because the public didn't know, they already feel like they've had their death. The bereavement period is over. I feel like by the new year, no later than February 1, they'll get back on the horse. You might even hear about it before, like snippets around New Year's Eve."
Want to know who Patti recommends for Ryan and Scarlett? Continue reading at MTV News.

With just ten days left until Christmas, it's now getting down to crunch time to find that perfect present for the people in your life. The same goes for stars (who needs personal shoppers?!) like Adrienne Bailon of The Cheetah Girls, who told followers she was, "Starting my Christmas shopping today!!!
:) :)" Meanwhile, "Jersey Shore" star The Situation had some other things on his agenda besides making a list and checking it twice, as he posted from his page, "SO COLD OUT, going to do some GTL, Then some holiday shopping."
Rather than face the frigid temps and stressful shopping malls, Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams (pictured) opted to stay indoors to get the job done. The rocker wrote, "Online shopping again. Makin Christmas shopping my beeeotch!" Singer Jordin Sparks had the very same idea, as the former "American Idol" contestant confessed, "I need to christmas shop. *runs to computer* #Onlineshopping #procrastinator #uhoh"

The good news about the upcoming season of "True Blood" is that the cast is finally back to work and has begun filming season four! The bad news, however, is a) we still have a long time to wait to see new episodes and b) the cast members are just too darned media savvy to slip up and deliver juicy plot details. Nevertheless! When MTV News caught up with Rutina Wesley and Sam Trammell at Spike's Video Game Awards recently, we begged them to tell us what their characters will be up to next season.
"I don’t know, I can’t tell you that! It’s like top secret info!" Rutina insisted. She then opened up just a touch to let us know that once again, Tara will be in for plenty of ups and downs.
"It’s going to be a wild ride for Tara, but I think she’s going to get some more stability—for a little bit anyway," she explained. "And some more power maybe, and I think maybe some happiness for a little bit, but that’s about all I can tell you."

There are very few guys who can live in both a world dominated by lasers and a world dominated by big hair and sequined guitars, but Garrett Hedlund seems to look great in either. And that's why we decided to make the "Tron: Legacy" and "Country Strong" star this week's Hump Day Hottie.
Check out the dreamy pic of Garrett below (sorry, no video this week), and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: The 26-year-old grew up in Minnesota and Arizona. While in Arizona, Garrett began to take acting lessons and was quickly signed to a talent agency. After graduating from high school, he made the move to Hollywood and never looked back.

We're still months away from "On The Road" hitting theaters, but Kristen Stewart's costars in the film are already generating plenty of buzz for her performance. Garrett Hedlund, who plays Dean Moriarty in the film, has been making the rounds promoting "Tron: Legacy" and "Country Strong," while Amy Adams, who plays Jane, has been busy supporting "The Fighter." When MTV News caught up with both stars, they had nothing but the best things to say about KStew's turn as Marylou in the adaptation of Jack Kerouac's classic novel.
"[She is] incredible, and in this, everyone is going to get to see how hard of a worker she is, man. I mean, the devotion that she puts into her work, and her performance is going to be exposed highly in this," Garrett gushed to interviewer Josh Horowitz.

We all know break-ups aren't easy, but recently split celebs must deal with a whole slew of annoying circumstances we could never dream of. Take Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, for instance. Unlike most of us, their break-up was more than just Facebook fodder (darn those sad little broken hearts)—it was front page news! Every tabloid, entertainment news show and blog (we're guilty too!) reported the sad circumstances of the split. There's just nowhere to hide—or is there? Stars have one advantage that us mere mortals don't: lots and lots of money. How can a famous girl or guy get over a breakup in peace? We have a few (costly) ideas:

When it comes to country music style, we've come to expect big, bold and beautiful, but the celebs who stepped out at last night's special L.A. screening of "Country Strong" were anything but over-the-top. (Of course, they totally had beautiful covered!) The stars of the movie, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Leighton Meester arrived in understated looks and were joined by a slew of guests. Unfortunately, not everyone delivered a strong (excuse the pun!) red carpet showing. Keep reading to find out which looks we loved and which ones call for a fashion intervention.
First off, if you were able to tell the difference between Leighton and Minka Kelly in the pictures above then kudos to you, because we definitely had to look at the credits. The girls (who are starring in the upcoming flick "The Roommate") look so much alike! We think it's because Minka appears to be channeling "Gossip Girl"'s Blair Waldorf (a.k.a the character Leighton plays), and we must say it's working for her. Minka looked fab in an embellished gray dress. We thought the cut looked great on her and loved that she didn't go too far with the studs. Also, the nude shoes were the perfect contrast!

Hollywood's famous for its love-em-and-leave-em mentality when it comes to romance, so it's not always shocking when a celebrity couple calls it quits. Yet, 2010 seems to be chock-full of jaw-dropping breakups. We didn't think it could get anymore surprising than the separation of Courteney Cox and David Arquette after 11 years of marriage...but then this week happened. Not only did childhood sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens part ways, but famously low-key (and completely gorgeous) couple Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson announced the end of their two-year marriage. Let's just hope this is the end of star splits for 2010.
Was Ryan and Scarlett's breakup this year's most surprising? Vote in our poll after the jump and tell us which of 2010's celebrity splits was most shocking.

Little did we know that Bon Temps would be doubling the size of its population in the fourth season of "True Blood"! Two new cast members have joined the already humongous cast, but surprisingly enough, they aren't a part of the growing group of shapeshifters and witches moving into town. Instead, they'll round out the group of werepanthers Jason Stackhouse is presiding over in Hotshot and the faeries that Sookie is hanging out with wherever she is.
Deadline reports that "In Treatment" star Dane DeHaan has come on board "True Blood" as Timbo, one of the werepanther teens that Jason is taking care of since Crystal peaced out. Hopefully their relationship is a bit more successful than Sam's with his younger brother Tommy, though we'll see how that all pans out.
