"True Blood" didn't rack up any nominations at this year's Golden Globes, but that didn't stop hottie Ryan Kwanten from showing up and strutting his stuff in a well-tailored tux. And since he was walking the red carpet, we took the opportunity to beg him for just a teensy bit of info about what's in store when the show comes back to HBO.
For instance: When we last saw Jason Stackhouse, he'd just traded a chance at romance with a shapeshifting ladycat for the significantly less-sexy job of caring for two dozen feral, inbred cat people. What now?
Ryan (whose clipped Aussie accent still surprises us every time we hear it) obligingly dished on his character's doings.
"He's trying to wield a gun and have some sense of authority," Ryan said. He also implied that we can expect further shenanigans from Jason: "He's a cop, and if anyone should not be a cop, it's Jason Stackhouse."
But the big question is, after getting so up close and personal with the shifters, will Jason join the ranks of Bon Temps supernaturals himself?
"I do know," Ryan said, when asked about his character's fate, "but I'm gonna leave that question unanswered."
Oh Ryan, how you tease us.
