"Skins" is here, and based on how many TV watchers tuned into the naughty teen drama's premiere, we know these actors are going to be stars. In fact, we're pretty sure teen girls everywhere will soon be hanging posters of the "Skins" boys up in their bedrooms, which is why we're drooling over them as this week's Hump Day Hotties. Let's get to know each of them!
Check out the video of the guys below, and then keep reading for more details about them!
James Newman
Character: Tony
Choice Quote: "Things like this certainly happen [in real life]," James said of the show's subject matter. "I don't think they necessarily happen with the frequency that it happens on 'Skins,' but it's TV and we want it to be entertaining and it helps from a standpoint on sex and drugs. It doesn't happen as much, but I think as far as relationships the friends have with each other and the emotions, that stuff is dead-on, spot-for-spot what we went through in high school...Anytime you see sex and drugs on 'Skins,' it's about the story. It's never that for the sake of that."
Daniel Flaherty
Character: Stanley
Choice Quote: "It's genuine American stories from teenagers, which is really cool and special," he said of the show's appeal. "You want to make your character as natural as possible, and I think the way to do that is to add your own character into the lines that you're given. I think any actor does that."
Jesse Carere
Character: Chris
Choice Quote: "You can’t say you don’t know someone in your real life that’s not like your character. I definitely know a couple people like our characters. In that sense, I believe it’s almost taking really exaggerated people, who do exist, and putting them together and making them best friends," he explained. "The characters are real and the relationships are real."
Ron Mustafaa
Character: Abbud
Choice Quote: "My mom is like really cool, but she's, like, really Indian," Mustafaa told us with a laugh regarding buzz about the show's racy subject matter. "She's not really accustomed to a lot of the crazy stuff on American television. She's really cool with it because she understands the heart of the show...growing up and finding out who you are, but at times I have some weird convos with my mom about filming certain sequences...[but] it's all tastefully done."
Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute the "Skins" dudes by gazing at the video above!
