If the teaser trailer for "Soul Surfer" grabbed your interest a few weeks ago, just wait until you see the full-length trailer, which hit the web today! Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, we got a longer look at the amazing true tale of Bethany Hamilton brought to life on the big screen.
For those not familiar with the story, Bethany, a young surfer, endures a horrific shark attack accident and must have her left arm amputated. Still, after finding the will to move on, a defiant Bethany returns to the ocean and begins surfing again. Not choked up yet? Well, the trailer, with its inspirational subject matter and its fitting use of Katy Perry's "Firework," should definitely do the trick.
The trailer starts out like so many surfer flicks that came before it; sunny, exotic and with some awe-inspiring shots of killer waves. We meet Bethany, a bikini-clad teen (played by AnnaSophia Robb), on the cusp of becoming a pro surfer, who splits her time between hanging with friends and hanging ten.

Is it just us, or is Uma Thurman trying to get in with Kristen Stewart? The "Kill Bill" actress already blipped on "Twilight" fans' radars when she filmed the steamy, sex-filled period drama "Bel Ami" with Robert Pattinson, and now Cinematical just debuted a smoochy poster for her film "Ceremony," in which she stars opposite Kristen's ex-boyfriend Michael Angarano.

Maybe she's just a "Twilight Saga" fan? After all, "Ceremony" also stars "Breaking Dawn" newcomer (and adorable "Pushing Daisies" star) Lee Pace.
In "Ceremony," Michael plays a man set to rekindle a romance with his former flame (Uma) who just happens to be engaged to someone else (Lee). By contrast, Rob's character in "Bel Ami" uses his wealthy mistress (Uma) to help him rise from rags to riches in late 19th century Paris. We love how Uma has turned into such a cougar, considering she's 16 and 17 years older than Rob and Michael, respectively.

We're ready to Catch VD. In fact, we couldn't be more excited for "The Vampire Diaries"' big return tonight on The CW. Mystic Falls newbie, Michaela McManus, who plays lady werewolf Jules on the show, told Hollywood Crush that fans have a lot to look forward to.
"It's a good one. Let's see... Well, we just get more in-depth, especially for my character. You really start to see where she's coming from a little more," she dished about the show’s mid-season return. "It gets more exciting."
She further teased, "Right now you see a lot of my character with Tyler and Damon since Rose's fate is really up in the air. We'll see what happens. Really, Jules has come to town to take the place of Mason and take over for him and she definitely feels like a mentor to Tyler, especially in discovering this is new to him and maybe she sees a little bit of herself in that. She sees Mason in Tyler, so she feels this strong bond to him right away."

Let's be real: When it comes to enjoying the "Twilight" movies, suspension of disbelief is a key factor. There's the whole "vampires are sparkly" thing; the whole "accelerated hybrid pregnancy" thing; the whole "pretend like you didn't notice Kristen Stewart's horrible wig" thing...
And then there's the fact that, in "Breaking Dawn," the ridiculously fresh-faced Elizabeth Reaser is supposed to be somebody's grandmother. Crazy! So when we caught up with the actress who plays Esme Cullen at the Sundance Film Festival, we had to ask what she thinks about Mackenzie Foy, the 10-year-old actress who plays Bella-Edward offspring Renesmee Cullen.
"She's actually my vampire grandchild," Elizabeth said with a laugh. "I'm a grandma. This is... far too quick."

It seems like forever since we've seen a new episode of "Glee"—despite the fact the show and its popular cast members are all over the news. And while seeing Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer and the whole cast snag wins at the Golden Globes was a major highlight, enough with the repeats! Let's see Anne Hathaway, that Bieber song-filled episode and that "Thriller"-inspired number already.
The good news is that the wait is almost over. The next new episode airs Super Bowl Sunday, February 6, and thanks to a recent chat with star Dianna Agron during a press day for her new movie "I Am Number Four," MTV News got the scoop on a few elements in the new episode.
"We do a dance, [from] Michael Jackson's "Thriller" [video] to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Head’s Will Roll," and it was one of the most fun times we’ve ever had," Dianna said. "[We were] dressed like zombies with blood coming down you and in vintage dresses, well, not the boys dressed in dresses," she corrected. "[There is] just a lot of comedy. Just a lot of laughs," she said.

There have been many, many actresses offered the titular role of Snow White in "Snow White and the Huntsman," an upcoming action flick from Universal. First Saoirse Ronan, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were offered the part, then Riley Keough (you know, granddaughter of Elvis Presley) was thought to be in the lead. Suddenly Universal changed their minds and decided they wanted to go with a relatively unknown actress (like Felicity Jones or Alicia Vikander), but still there are reports that "Sucker Punch" star Emily Browning tested for the role this weekend.
But apparently, Universal really wants Kristen Stewart. According to The Hollywood Reporter, KStew is the actress that Universal keeps coming back to to portray the fairest of them all. And since she hasn't booked any films for after "Breaking Dawn," this might be the project for her.

Here's what we know so far about the film adaption of Suzanne Collins' bestselling "Hunger Games" trilogy: "Pleasantville" director Gary Ross is helming the project, it will have a satisfactory PG-13 rating, and thanks to an announcement yesterday from Lionsgate, it will be released on March 23, 2012. The only integral information we need now is who will play the three leads, Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne (no biggie, right?). With the casting process already underway, we're expecting a big announcement any day now.
But back to yesterday's release date news. While it might seem insignificant when put in the context of these other, arguably bigger reveals, the fact that Lionsgate chose that specific weekend says a lot about how they're going to market the film. Not only will they capitalize on the upcoming Easter weekend when much of "The Hunger Games"'s target audience will be on vacation from school, but the release date is breaking the trend of previous teen-targeted film franchises like "Harry Potter" and "Twilight."

Happy Birthday, Ellen DeGeneres! The dance-happy daytime television host turns 53 today and celebrated her birthday in style with a little help from her famous friends who stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Ellen (pictured) tweeted from her page about the birthday ep, "I'm not gonna lie to you, it was amazing" and when we heard about just some of the guests we knew she wasn't kidding! Filming 'Ten Year' right now."

Okay, so we know what you're thinking…maybe we're feeling a little crazy at Hollywood Crush for naming "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and Kourtney's one true love, Scott Disick, this week's Hump Day Hottie. But hey, that guy is one snappy dresser, and if Kanye West agrees with us about that then we can't be too crazy, right?
Check out the video of Scott below, and then keep reading for more details about him!
Vital stats: 27-year-old Scott grew up on Long Island, New York. Aside from starring on TV, he also has a day job. What does he do exactly? He works in the club world doing VIP/nightlife marketing. Plus, he's a dad to little baby Mason.
"I've always wanted a girl," Scott recently said about expanding his and Kourtney's brood. "And then I had Mason and I realized a boy was fantastic. But I would say having a girl would be unbelievable too, to have the best of both worlds... When the time comes or if it's meant to be, we'll have another one."
As for taming his wild ways, he explained, "I'd like to say I turned over a new leaf a while ago. I just want Kourtney to be happy, and the way I used to be didn't make her happy."
