If you pay close attention to the Twitters, you may have noticed this ecstatic post from "One Tree Hill" star Jana Kramer a few weeks back, "I signed a record deal with Warner brothers Nashville and I'm in the studio right now recording my first song as a recording artist!!!!" The Tweet was quickly removed, but a couple of in-studio photos remained—including one with country legend Dolly Parton!
Well, today OK! magazine not only confirmed the news but had this exciting tidbit to add: Jana will premiere her first single, "I Won't Give Up," on the February 8 episode of her CW series!
When Hollywood Crush chatted with the actress back in December 2009—after Alex's crazytown suicide attempt—she told us that she spends much of her downtime playing music. "I sing too, so I play my guitar a lot, and write new music," she said.
While Jana ruled out a musical plotline for Alex at the time, saying, "I sing more for myself to keep me inspired and doing something different. If they wanted [Alex] to sing I would love it! But I really doubt it," maybe producers have changed their minds.
