Valentine's Day is all about fairytale romances (or at least it should be!) so what better occasion to gift you with this EXCLUSIVE clip from the upcoming romantic drama "Beastly"? (It's sweet and delicious without all the calories of a box of chocolates! The perfect present!)
Out March 4, "Beastly" stars Alex Pettyfer (i.e. "Glee" star Dianna Agron's boyfriend and the guy everyone wants to star in their YA novel movie adaptation), as a one-time big man on campus whose good looks are taken away by a witch's (Mary-Kate Olsen) curse. He must find love despite his rather hideous appearance or else he'll be stuck like that forever. Enter Vanessa Hudgens, the high school's resident outsider who's become the object of Alex's affections.
In this EXCLUSIVE clip, a post-transformation Alex stops by Vanessa's room to drop off some CDs and stumbles upon one of V's secrets: she keeps a photo of herself and popular, pretty Alex front and center on her laptop! "Just some guy at my old school," Vanessa explains, trying to brush off Alex's obviously stunned reaction. "Every once and a while you kind of remind me of him," she adds. Oh, really? How coincidental!
Alex begins pacing around the room, clearing his throat and stumbling over furniture in an attempt to hide is unease. "You know the truly ridiculous thing is, I might of, kind of, sort of actually thought he a little bit liked me," Vanessa admits. "Of course he did," Alex responds. Um, swooooon!
We'll admit, we were pretty stoked to see "Beastly" before, but watching Alex adorably fidget in this cute scene has us completely sold.
