Even though he's a big Hollywood star these days, Channing Tatum has no qualms about letting the skeletons out of his closet. Case in point: perhaps you've seen that grainy Internet video of Channing wiggling his booty as a stripper in Tampa, Florida—made public after it was sold to a tabloid in 2009. Such a subject would usually be a taboo topic for a celebrity, but the March GQ cover boy is refreshingly candid about his past.
Speaking to the magazine about his one-time stint as a stripper, Channing recalled that it was a spur-of-the-moment decision. "Okay, we’re going to do this for a little while just to be crazy and insane; then we’re getting out," he recalled telling a colleague, add that he never had any intention of hiding his past. "I had wanted to tell people," he explained. "I’m not ashamed of it. I don’t regret one thing. I’m not a person who hides sh--."
Channing's salty past shouldn't be too surprising, judging from the other crazy stories he told GQ. The actor spilled that one recent weekend, he and his pals decided to get random tattoos (He got the letters "IH" inked on his upper arm), and after that, he dropped a "Spontaneous Home Invasion" on pal Marlon Wayans. What’s that exactly?
"We sneak up to his house, okay, and we’re like, ‘Sh--! He’s home!'" Tatum recalled. "There are girls around the pool, and we can see him sitting there. So Kurtz [Channing's friend] and I strip down. And we open the door and just pounce in like, ‘Rawr!’ And Marlon jumps up in this fighting stance, like he is going to bust out some martial-arts sh--. And his cousin grabs a pillow. A pillow."

If Channing has his way, he’ll soon have more outrageous tales to tell. "There are so many things I want to do. Like, I want to get an artist, a musician, a photographer, and a bunch of dancers that I know and just travel across Africa and just film it and just see what happens. Do and learn as much as I possibly can. Luckily, I have a lot more time."
