For the "90210" fans who've been following along with both the series and our Crush recaps by way of dutiful watcher/writer Emily Exton, we've watched bad boy Liam (Matt Lanter) and good girl Annie (Shenae Grimes) dance around their love/hate-turned plain ol' love for some time now. But will they actually be together for awhile?
When MTV News caught up with Matt recently (who, I must add, is the nicest guy in person. He's just always so sweet and charming), I asked him for some hints as to what's happening in upcoming episodes.
"Liam is kind of becoming [involved] in more of a solid relationship with Annie," Matt said. "I think fans are going to enjoy that because a lot of them have been rooting for that couple to get together. So that’s more solid in the last few episodes, and then we have a spring break episode coming up, which is always fun."
Matt went on to say that any time the cast gets to get outside and/or away from their high school sets, they have a lot of fun.
"It’s fun to watch because it’s cool to see the cast outside of the regular realm. And then we have one more episode to film and that’s the end of senior year."
Matt described the season finale as "a big episode," and that "we’ll see where they go, who sticks around and who doesn’t" (a.k.a. who will leave to pursue a movie career and who will stick with The CW). Anyway! Back to the spring break episode and speaking to the cast having more fun, I asked Matt which cast member would be the most trouble on an actual spring break.
"I feel like AnnaLynne [McCord] would be a lot of trouble on spring break," he said. "She doesn’t drink or anything but man, she’d be some trouble. Me and [Michael] Steger might get into trouble, just because we’re a bit ornery on set," he admitted. "We like to joke around a little bit. Tristan [Wilds] too, really. We’re all just terrible," he joked. "All troublemakers."
Sounds like fun to us!
