"There was an electrical fire in the garage while no one was home. The house was not burned. No one was hurt," a rep for his ex and "I Am Number Four" co-star, Dianna Agron, told "Entertainment Tonight." The actor was reportedly late to the premiere, though it apparently had nothing to do with the fire.
Alex and Dianna broke up earlier this month, just weeks after they were rumored to be engaged. Life & Style reported that Dianna was recently heard telling a friend that "We are over." Sources added that the relationship is "definitely off… and so is the engagement."
With the minor emergencies and dramas handled, Alex can now look forward to the film's opening March 4. The flick is a modern retelling of "Beauty and the Beast," with Alex in the Beast role. It also stars Vanessa Hudgens as the Beauty. The New York-set film includes appearances from Mary-Kate Olsen and Neil Patrick Harris.
