Production on the ensemble rom-com "New Year's Eve" began last month—but that isn't stopping director Garry Marshall from adding on to the already-enormous cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie is rounding out its hospital subplot with two more medical roles: one for Carla Gugino, who's playing a doctor, and one for Halle Berry, who's returning to the film just in time to snag a role as a nurse. (Remember, Halle's original role as a caterer was filled by Katherine Heigl, after the Academy Award-winner left the production last month amid rumors of impending nastiness due to a custody dispute.)

With cameras rolling, Halle and Carla should be among the last few actors to trickle in to this NYE party—although we're holding out for at least a few more stars to come on board for petite cameo roles. Meanwhile, the two will almost certainly share some screen time with fellow stars Robert DeNiro, Alyssa Milano, Jessica Biel and Seth Meyers, all of whom are attached to the movie's hospital scenes.

For the "90210" fans who've been following along with both the series and our Crush recaps by way of dutiful watcher/writer Emily Exton, we've watched bad boy Liam (Matt Lanter) and good girl Annie (Shenae Grimes) dance around their love/hate-turned plain ol' love for some time now. But will they actually be together for awhile?

When MTV News caught up with Matt recently (who, I must add, is the nicest guy in person. He's just always so sweet and charming), I asked him for some hints as to what's happening in upcoming episodes.

"Liam is kind of becoming [involved] in more of a solid relationship with Annie," Matt said. "I think fans are going to enjoy that because a lot of them have been rooting for that couple to get together. So that’s more solid in the last few episodes, and then we have a spring break episode coming up, which is always fun."

News spread like wildfire this morning that Kourtney Kardashian was engaged to her boyfriend Scott Disick. Turns out, that's exactly what it was for Kourtney: news! The reality star addressed the rumors that she would wed her longtime (and, let's be honest, not always beloved) baby daddy, when she wrote from her Twitter page, "WOW!! Where do the mags come up with this stuff? And claiming exclusives? Come on now." While her little sister Khloe Kardashian (pictured here with Kourtney) wouldn't address the story, she did share, "Just saw @KourtneyKardash new house! It looks fab already! Can't wait until everything is unpacked! Mason I can't get enough of you!"

But Kourtney, Scott and baby Mason weren't the only fam with changes ahead. Jessica Alba announced that she and her hubby Cash Warren are expanding their brood, as she linked to her Facebook page from Twitter to tell fans, "It's been a while since I've been on FB & I thought I'd drop by to let you all in on some exciting news>Honor is going to be a Big Sister!" The actress got plenty of well wishes from the Twitterverse, including some from pals like rocker Joel Madden who wrote, "Congrats you two @cash_warren @jessicaalba some of the best parents around. Happy for you guys!! Another superhuman on its way!!!" and his brother-bandmate Benji Madden, "@cash_warren @jessicaalba Congrats you two! You sure do make beautiful babies! Uncle Benj is stoked!"

A cheeky color was spotted on the chic runways of yesterday’s New York Fashion Week shows. And that color was…PINK!

Peach, blush and magenta may all sound like celebrity baby names, but they are also colors that peeped out on Tuesday.

Badgley Mischka and Tibi were the frontrunners with two recognitions from each of their collections, while Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez and Concept Korea did not fail to impress either.

Until Lionsgate, Gary Ross and Co. end all this speculating, we're just going to keep talking about who should be in "The Hunger Games" movie. If you've been following along at home, the most recent installments have featured possible cast member Alex Pettyfer, who was rumored to be in consideration to play Peeta Mellark. Even though he told us he has yet to make a decision between "Games" and "The Mortal Instruments," we think his involvement in the highly anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' brilliant book is a stretch.

Honestly, since we haven't heard anything official from the studio, everyone in consideration is a stretch at this point. No matter! We'll still harass as many actors about it as possible. The latest to get the "MTV News Hunger Games Grilling" is young and talented actress Abigail Breslin. The last time we checked in with her, she was just getting into the books, and it seems she's made good progress, telling us she's now a big fan of the series.

"I think it’s an amazing book. I’m a huge fan of the books," she said. "It’s amazing, obviously it would be great [to be in the film]," she added.

We then asked her if, considering the fact that Suzanne's books are full of a bunch of great characters, which one is her favorite.

It's hard to believe that someone as smoking hot as Alex Pettyfer could ever be considered a number lower than one, but as the star of this week's major movie release "I Am Number Four," the British babe is out for survival. He's set for a big year with multiple movie releases, which is why we're naming him this week's Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this video of Alex, and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: The 20-year-old English native got his start as a kid model—he posed for Gap after meeting fashion designer Ralph Lauren at a toy store. He later performed in plays and studied theater at Sylvia Young Theatre School.

We're at our mid-way point of our Fashion Week coverage, and next up is the Cynthia Steffe show. Now some of you may not realize, but Cynthia Steffe doesn't actually design the collection anymore. In 2008 British designer Shaun Kearney took over the creative helm, and it seems like he hasn't missed a beat. When asked how he gets inspired to design his collection, he told us he turns to music, and for his Fall 2011 collection, he listened to Lykke Li, the Cure and Adele for motivation. His fun, vibrant personality was clearly evident throughout the collection, which was dominated by animal print undertones, rich textures and men's tailoring.

The Cynthia Steffe fall line is designed for the modern day woman, but could easily be worn by girls of any age. I will say, I'm usually not a big fan of animal print, but his subtle use of the prints, and the colors he chose, definitely put Cynthia Steffe's collection on my must-have list for this fall. I'm officially a fan! Tomorrow's show is the always exciting and unexpected Betsey Johnson—a presentation you do not want to miss!

What do you think about the Cynthia Steffe collection?

It looks like the Alba family is about to get a little bit bigger!

Jessica Alba announced on her Facebook page today that she and her hubby, Cash, are expecting another child.

"Honor is going to be a Big Sister!" she posted. "Cash and I are thrilled and wanted to share the news directly with you so you didn't hear about it somewhere else. I appreciated all of the love and support you all gave me during my first pregnancy and will definitely appreciate it again this time around."

While Jessica didn't specify whether she's having a boy or girl, we wanted to get a head start on suggesting some baby names. After all, with a sister named Honor and a dad named Cash, this baby's going to need a unique signature to fit in with the family.

Guys do dumb things to impress girls. It's a fact—check an encyclopedia. Thankfully for the preservation of our race, few of those crazy antics actually lead to bodily harm. But there are exceptions—like hurdling oneself down a hill while seated inside a large metal orb (that's gonna leave a few marks). Such is the case for "Take Me Home Tonight"'s Topher Grace, who takes a ride in the medieval-like torture chamber in the '80s-set rom-com out March 4.

A little background: Topher's character Matt Franklin is an aimless, recent college grad who returns home and takes a job at the local video store. While on shift, he runs into high school crush Tori (played by "I Am Number Four"'s Teresa Palmer) and to impress her, dreams up an alternate identity for himself that includes a high-powered banking job at Goldman Sachs. Tori invites him to an end-of-summer blow-out bash, but after a series of missteps, Matt is left deflated and on Tori's bad side. Hence, the ball.

With anticipation for the next season of "True Blood" at an all-time high, any news about what's next for Bon Temps is more than welcome. But when it comes to announcements from the show's producers, the ones we like best are hot, howling, and...um, hairy. (Alliteration win!) So it's with great delight that we report the following: According to TVLine, a sexy new werewolf has joined the pack!

Daniel Buran, previously of "CSI: NY," will be nosing his way into the "True Blood" family this year in the role of Shreveport's werewolf packmaster. Not only is this good news from a casting perspective —it's always lovely when a hot new man joins the party—but it means we'll be seeing at least seven episodes' worth of lupine plotlines in season 4. And that, of course, means more shirtless screen time for Joe Manganiello as Alcide.
