From what we've seen of the upcoming video for her latest single "E.T." (which, in case you didn't know, debuts this Thursday on MTV!) Katy Perry has achieved yet another wild look we want to abduct for ourselves.
Yesterday we brushed through her many memorable hairstyles, but today we wanted to reflect on the unique duds the pop star has rocked in the past, leading to her latest intergalactic outfit. So come take a trip down memory lane with us and look back at the daring, flirty and feminine video garbs that are so very Katy Perry.

Katy made a good impression right from the get-go with the gold mini dress she worked to the max in her "I Kissed a Girl" video. Even though it's from 2008, the dress and all those accessories (The belt! The Katy necklace! Those shoes!) are still all kinds of right today. I mean, talk about getting a shy temptress look down pat.
While we prefer the absolutely gorgeous haute couture Elie Saab dress Katy wore when she married hubby Russell Brand last year, we still get a kick out of the wedding dress from "Hot N Cold." From the teeny-tiny veil to the gloves to the multi-tiered gown (with removable skirt! Perfect for chasing cold feet fiances!), we're still wondering how in the world her beau in the vid said "no" to her.
Katy was headed towards another wedding blunder when she was "Waking Up in Vegas" (Getting hitched in a Queen of Hearts dress is a big no-no) but totally redeemed herself when she wore an ensemble that featured a retro-inspired, open pink jacket (Oh, hello, leopard print bra!) and a pair of sparkly pants that were more ferocious than a Bengal tiger. Sure, the gaudy earrings, scads of chunky bracelets and sky-high heels make the whole thing over the top, but, hey, when in Vegas...
Katy definitely didn't tone things down when she wore two candy-inspired dresses for her "California Gurls" vid, including one that looked exactly like she was wearing a sheet of Candy Buttons! But we were definitely sweetest on Katy's sexy and summery ripped shirt and jeans combo she wore in "Teenage Dream." That one got all our hearts racing!
Tell us, Crushers, which Katy Perry music video look is your favorite?
