The wait is almost over. In just a few hours (at 7:53 p.m. to be exact), Katy Perry will sit down with MTV to talk about her new music video for "E.T."! We've been counting down to the huge event with a look back at Katy's previous music video endeavors. Check out her past video hairstyles, fashion and concepts to catch up.
If you've somehow missed the news, we have to remind you that Kanye West also appears in "E.T.", which got us thinking about other stars who've teamed up with Katy. Here's a look at some of Katy's other famous video co-stars.
She might have been an unknown at the time of its 2008 release, but we'll still count Ke$ha's appearance in Katy's "I Kissed a Girl" video. She might be hard to spot as she's just an extra, but trust us, she's there.
In "Thinking of You," Katy's true love, a.k.a. the guy she's thinking of, is played by "Kyle XY" star Matt Dallas. And while we're pleased we get four minutes to enjoy the gorgeous Matt, we're not so happy that his character (spoiler alert!) is killed in WWII. It's heartbreaking. You've been warned.
Katy used the real Las Vegas as the setting for her "Waking Up In Vegas" video. So naturally, she had to feature some real Las Vegas guest stars. Poker legend Daniel Negreanu is seen losing to Katy in the game of cards, and famous magicians Penn and Teller are seen when Katy and her man kick them out of their hotel room. (Penn and Teller later return the favor and kick Katy out when her luck changes.) Speaking of Katy's man, her love interest in the video is Joel David Moore, who's probably most famous for his roles in "Avatar" and "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story."
Perhaps the most obvious star cameo was Snoop Dogg's appearance in Katy's video for "California Gurls." Snoop plays "Sugar Daddy," the king holding the queens of Candyfornia captive. After Katy frees the women, Sugar Daddy marches in with his army of gummy bears ready to stand his ground. But Katy defends herself and the other women with her whipped cream bra. And yes. We realize that last paragraph sounds totally made up. But such is life in an over-the-top Candy Land-themed Katy Perry music video.
