Just one day after his interview with Details magazine hit the internet, in which he gushed about girlfriend Ashley Greene, comes news that Joe Jonas and the "Twilight" star have broken up.

Sources have confirmed the split to the New York Post, Us Weekly and JustJared.

The Post reports that the twosome, who began dating last summer, broke up weeks ago but have kept the split under wraps. The source added that their busy work schedules contributed to the break, and that "it was mutual and amicable."

There's no doubt that the kiss between Chris Colfer's Kurt and Darren Criss' Blaine during last night's episode of "Glee" will go down as one of the all-time great smooches in television history. In addition to the totally unexpected bliss of it all (seriously, who could have seen that coming?!), it was a moment that surpassed any fan's expectations for the Warblers duo. "Nikita" star Lyndsy Fonseca was just one of the many Gleeks who couldn't help but share their delight with the lip-lock, as she posted, "OMG!!!! i screamed for joy when Kurt and Blaine FINALLY kissed! #gleek." But the two "Glee" men of the moment (pictured) couldn't help but have a little fun with the big trending topic they created, as Darren joked, "@chriscolfer Looks like we finally did what everybody was waiting on for so long... A Hey Monday song! Boy, I sure hope people liked it!" and Chris playfully tweeted back, "@DarrenCriss I fo' sho' thought "RIP Pavarotti" would be trending before "They Kissed". Tisk tisk. He is rolling in his bedazzled grave."

Sadly, two of their "Glee" co-stars were doing what so many others did from their Twitter pages today; paying their respects to singer Nate Dogg, who passed away at the age of 41 on Tuesday, March 15, reportedly from complications from a stroke. Actor Kevin McHale said of the late legend, "Just talking about how i missed Nate Dogg on the radio the other day, crazy. Shall be missed tremendously! music lives on" as his co-star Dianna Agron reflected on the West Coast-based star who was behind hits like "Regulate," "RIP Nate Dogg. Know it is a very sad day for the bay area."

Joe Jonas has always been adorable. And as the middle Jonas Brother, he always had potential to be, well, hot. That potential, it seems, has finally reached critical mass. Wowza! This month's Details cover boy has really grown into quite a Hump Day Hottie, if we do say so ourselves.

Check out this dreamy video of Joe, and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: The 21-year-old New Jersey native has always dabbled in the world of entertainment. Long before he found fame alongside his brothers, he starred in the 2002 Broadway version of "La Boheme," staged by Baz Luhrmann. Shortly after that, pop stardom called. With fame came the ladies: he's been linked to Taylor Swift, Camilla Belle, Demi Lovato and "Twilight" star Ashley Greene.

We've heard you, "Hunger Games" fans. We know you want Hunter Parrish to take on the role of Katniss Everdeen's fellow District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark. And, apparently, Lionsgate and director Gary Ross have heard your pleas, as well, because the 23-year-old "Weeds" star is in contention for the role!

That's right. E! Online spoke with Hunter who confirmed he's met with the movie's producers. "I'd be grateful to get the opportunity," he said. "Like, really grateful. It would be amazing."

Though he has yet to see a script, Hunter has read all three books in Suzanne Collins' dystopian series and feels blessed he has the fans' support. "You don't get much better than that," he said. "The true fans of the book. So regardless of whether I'm a part of the film or not, I feel honored to just sort of be thought of."

Kat Dennings certainly has some major big-screen projects on her docket ("Thor" and "Renee"), but she's also headed to the small screen for the Michael Patrick King-helmed "Two Broke Girls." Kat will star on the CBS comedy about two 20-somethings who are tackling life in the Big Apple. (Hey MPK, this sounds familiar!)

Regardless of the "Sex and the City" comparisons, Kat admitted that she feels excited to be involved with the project. "I mean, I know about as much as you do," she joked to MTV News on the set of her drama, "Renee." "I said 'yes,' and Michael Patrick King is a very good friend and obviously someone that is amazing, a master."

In fact, she was once a "Hot Child in the City" in an episode of "SATC." "And he also kind of gave me my break when I was 14," she said. "I was on 'Sex And The City' [in 2000], and so it's kind of an amazing full circle sort of."

It was a night of firsts for our favorite Fox musical series. Though the Kurt-Blaine kiss was undoubtedly the highlight of the hour (seriously, my jaw dropped), New Directions scored big with two original songs that clenched the Regionals title.

Now, I'll be the first to admit I was a tad dubious when I heard the news McKinley Highers would perform tunes written specifically for the show. Because really, half the fun of "Glee" is singing along to well-worn lyrics and marveling (and sometimes cringing) at new spins on old favorites. But, surprisingly, I did enjoy both "Get It Right" ("penned" by a heartbroken Rachel Berry) and "Loser Like Me" (the by-product of New Directions' collective Coach Sylvester bullying angst).

But after a strong initial showing, can we expect more original tunes to come? "Glee" music producer Adam Anders says maybe. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Adam admitted, "Obviously [Ryan Murphy's] setting up Lea as a songwriter so you’ll see her writing songs from time to time. But every week? No. I mean [Ryan] hasn’t said either way to me but if I were to guess I’d say no."

With the fate of original music on "Glee" uncertain, we got to wondering what you think, Crushers. Do you want to hear more unique tunes on the show? Vote in our poll after the jump!

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Vanessa Hudgens recently revealed to Shape that distance was a factor in her break-up from the freshly tatted Zac Efron, so it's no surprise she's keeping her "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" co-star Josh Hutcherson nice and close. The two were snapped arriving at Vanessa's home Monday afternoon following a motorcycle ride in Studio City, California (loving the pink helmet, V!).

We'll let you decide what this joy ride means for Vanessa and the would-be Peeta, though it should be noted the pair have been seen out and about several times over the last few weeks. And Vanessa does have a history of dating her co-stars...

Typically when you hear an actor or actress wants to try their hand at something new—be it singing or producing or starting a line of perfumes and colognes—most of the time it's hard not to think, 'Don't quit your day job!'

But when it comes to someone like the uber-talented Drew Barrymore, we can't help but get excited about her latest venture, be it on or off-screen. After directing 2009's underrated, kick-butt roller derby movie "Whip It," Drew will, thankfully be heading behind the camera once more, this time for a genre that's even more up her alley: romantic comedies!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Drew, who was last seen in the funny romance-from-afar flick "Going The Distance," will be at the helm of "How To Be Single," the big-screen adaptation of the novel by the same name that "explores the loves lives and break-ups of a group of New Yorkers over the course of 10 years." There's no word yet on whether Drew will also star in the movie.

Though we never need an excuse to watch a romantic comedy or support Drew Barrymore, we wanted to share three big reasons why we think this pairing is going to be a match made in movie heaven:

Try to remain calm. Only two days left until Robert Pattinson stops by MTV to premiere a new clip from "Water for Elephants" and answer fan questions live on camera. Okay, scratch remaining calm. We can hardly contain our excitement, so we'll let you off the hook too! In honor of his arrival, we're counting down the best of the best in MTV RPattz moments. (Catch up on No. 5 and No. 4 if you haven't seen them already.)

In day three of our swoonfest, we bring you this clip from the February 2009 Oscars red carpet. Although "Twilight" didn't get him any nominations, the Academy couldn't ignore Hollywood's biggest new star and box office hero on cinema's most important night.

"It's insane," Robert told us on the carpet. "When they first told me about this, I was like, 'No, no, no, no, no, you're joking'—or 'I'm going to have to do something really stupid like get gunged [British slang for slimed]!'"
