Over the weekend, celebrities of all sorts settled into the uncomfortably warm temperatures of India, California, to check out buzz bands and headlining acts at the Coachella music festival, where artists like Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Kings of Leon and The Strokes took the stage. The event also gave celebrities the opportunity to don their best desert wear, which with temperatures into the 100s, was focused on cool and comfortable.
Lea Michele went short and sweet in her little, stripped polo dress, while Katy Perry went pinup chic in her big, white glasses and black and red checker print top. Rihanna wore her bright red hair big and loose and paired her denim shorts with a black tank and military jacket.
Nina Dobrev, along with her close friend and "Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder hit the shows, sporting tank tops and sneakers. Nina, however, opted for short shorts while Ian went for a fedora (we're still trying to decide if we would have wanted to see Ian in short shorts). Vanessa Hudgens also opted for a hat, a big, floppy one, to keep cool. She paired it with a long, hippie skirt and flowing tank.
Ke$ha was dirty chic in her American flag tank, while Teresa Palmer looked funky in her Missoni print sun dress. Whitney Port donned vintage sunglasses, two buns on top of her head and a barely there white dress to avoid a heat stroke. And Diane Kruger had the best accessory of all: Joshua Jackson. We have to admit that would make us more warm, but whatever works for you, Diane.
What looks worked for you? Who was more warm than cool in their Coachella looks?
