We've gone far too long without a stellar Anna Faris comedy, and fortunately her newest has everything we're looking for: cute boys, an original storyline and, oh yeah, more cute boys.
The international trailer for her latest, "What's Your Number," has hit the web, and finally we get a look at the all-star casting we had been following so closely this time last year. Anna and Chris Evans star as the film's romantic leads, with everyone from Dave Annable to Joel McHale playing Anna's many, many ex boyfriends. Missing yourself some Zachary Quinto? He's in there. What about Andy Samberg and Chris Pratt? Check and check.
At least all their pretty faces will make up for all the awful reminders this trailer brings of our own terrifying ex stories.
"What's Your Number" follows Anna's character, Ally Darling, as searches for a date to her sister's impending wedding. Her current beau, played by Zachary, is just the latest in a string of awful boyfriends who thinks that going with her felt "a little serious." After lamenting how difficult it is to find the guy who's right for her, Ally finds out that apparently if a woman has been with more than 20 guys, she is very likely to end up alone. Unfortunately, Zach is number 20.
So, with the help of her sweet-talking neighbor, played by Chris, Ally endeavors to hunt down all of her previous guys and see if there wasn't something there that she missed. Of course, she ends up falling for Chris along the way, and...well, we'll just have to see how it all plays out in the movie.
We're so happy to see the sweet, cutesy side of Anna back in action, and "What's Your Number" looks like it has just the right balance of rom-com humor and sincere storyline to make us want to pay our $10 and see this one in theaters. Oh, and did we mention that there are plenty of cute boys in it?
