It's a good time to be Chris Colfer. The 20-year-old stars on one of the biggest TV shows out there—"Glee"—which he won a Golden Globe for, and he just began work on a new TV show for Disney called "The Little Leftover Witch."
The actor-turned-writer (who also recently penned a feature called "Struck By Lightning") talked to MTV News about working behind-the-scenes in Hollywood while walking the carpet at the Time 100 Gala in New York City.
"Words out on that," he said about the Disney show. "Yes, I never really wanted to pursue [being a writer]; it kind of fell into my lap, luckily. My friend had the rights to a children's book [and] asked me to adapt it to screenplay, and I did and very quickly and Disney bought that and asked me to adapt it into a TV show. So that’s what I'm doing now. I was always very much a hidden writer, and I never really wanted to talk about it."
Well, while he does that, he's also busy shooting a special New York-based episode of "Glee." And he promises lots of shenanigans.
"Well, we're in New York so we have a huge New York episode coming up, and I think fans of my character and Rachel will love where we sneak into in the episode," he said, before teasing, "It’s a wicked location."
