Panem has been positively buzzing over the past 48 hours! On Monday, we learned up-and-coming actors Amandla Stenberg and Dayo Okeniyi had been cast as District 11 tributes Rue and Thresh. Then yesterday, two tidbits lit up the "Hunger Games" fandom. First, Variety reported that "30 Rock" actress Elizabeth Banks was in talks to play high-strung escort Effie Trinket. Then came confirmation that another set of tributes had been selected in The Reaping: Leven Rambin and Jack Quaid, who will represent District 1 as Glimmer and Marvel.

So, as us YA-loving dearies are wont to do at Hollywood Crush, we checked in with a few of our "Hunger Games" fansite besties to get their take on the day's news, including whether Elizabeth should don Effie's pink wig.

"I know everyone is so gung-ho on Kristin Chenoweth, who, you know I think is wonderful and would do an amazing job, but I think Elizabeth could be as equally amazing," said The Hob's Megan Scott.

Much like many of my fellow Crushers, I am a fan of "Glee." More specifically, I am a fan of Heather Morris and her scene stealer-tastic performance as Brittany S. Pierce. As such, I'm always on the lookout for extra Heather-oriented goodness, and thanks to a happy coincidence, I recently discovered that she and equally-entertaining roommate/actress Ashley Lendzion have been hard at work on a few film-making projects of their own.

These include the most excellent "Nuthin' but a 'Glee' Thang" video for Funny or Die (which they wrote themselves), as well as two short films, "The Elevator," and the upcoming "Andy Made a Friend."

The video that follows should give you a better idea of just what exactly they're working with. And how much fun they have doing so.

"'The Elevator' is a short film about this guy Nate. He is scared of elevators, and he sees this girl one day [played by Heather] and he keeps seeing her on the elevator, and he can't seem to find her anywhere else," Ashley explained. "His attention is shifted towards her because her cell phone ringtone is his go-to karaoke song. He doesn't know what to do, and he recruits the help of his crazy roommate, Louise, played by me, she tries to coax him through and get him on an elevator."

Blood! Gore! Zombies! After six long weeks of missing out favorite cheer team, the Hellcats dusted off their pom-poms and sis-boom-bah'd their way back into our hearts by helping Dan with his Lancer film school submission. Nothing says, "I'm serious about film making," more than having Marti eaten by a crew of zombies and the rest of the Hellcats fighting them off with a fancy dance routine and guns. Right? But we'll get to that in a sec.

First things first. Last time we checked in with Marti she was desperate to find out who her dad really was. Post-zombie bloodbath, Marti hops on her trusty bike headed for the guitar shop with picks she found in her dad's suitcase. She hopes she'll find any tiny bit of information about him. At the shop she meets Dierdra (played by AJ Michalka—yes Aly's real life sister), a space cadet of a store clerk.

After searching the store database for her dad's name and coming up with nothing, Dierdra tells Marti that the little podunk guitar shop they are standing in could be another CBGB. I mean it has one whole wall covered in old rock memorabilia, fliers, photos and stickers from all the musicians that have played there. One whole wall…wow. It takes Marti under a minute to find an old setlist from 1998 with her dad's name, Rex Perkins, on it. Marti immediately has issue with the date. Turns out, Wanda-the-wonder-mom lied to Marti years ago when she said Rex died in 1993. Marti confronts Wanda, she 'fesses up and takes Marti to their town's equivalent of L.A.'s Skid Row.

Goodbye Gleek-y Gwyneth. Well, for now anyway.

Last night's brand new episode of "Glee" marked the departure of Holly Holliday (recurring guest star Gwyneth Paltrow) and the return of many a long-forgotten character (including Charice's Sunshine Corazon).

Things started, as they so often do, with Sue scheming ways to take down Mr. Schuester and his glee club. This time around she enlisted a tribunal of Will haters called "The League of Doom," which included disgraced pot-smoking teacher Sandy "Pink Dagger" Ryerson (the always hilarious Stephen Tobolowsky), Will's ex-wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig, who will probably strike later), whom she dubbed the "Honey Badger" and his rival glee coach Dustin Goolsby, a.k.a Sgt. Handsome (Cheyenne Jackson).

But before "The League of Doom" could interrupt their fun, the glee kids had some issues of their own. First, they had to raise $5,000 to go to Nationals (that's 20,000 pieces of salt water taffy if you're keeping count) and an additional $250 to help out Artie, Tina, Mike and Brittany (yes, Brittany, who is apparently well-versed in cat diseases and can be bribed with Dots) for their academic decathlon, the Brainiacs.

The DVD release of "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" was oh-so-chic today on Twitter. Stars Ashley Tisdale and Austin Butler (pictured) were super psyched for the release. Ashley, who tweeted over the weekend about plans to sign copies of the DVD at a Los Angeles Barnes & Noble today, had a lot to be excited about: a new episode of her series "Hellcats" also debut tonight! "Too excited for today! Sharpays fabulous adventure is finally in stores AND new Hellcats episodes start tonight!!!" she tweeted. As for Austin, he just hopes fans like the movie. "Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure is now in stores! Hope you like it!"

Ashley and Austin may have been hard at work promoting today, but fellow Disney alum Joe Jonas was taking it easy. "Was in the desert yesterday morning. Now in paradise. :) :) chillinnnnn ..." he tweeted, hinting at a tropical vacay. Pal Anna Perez de Tagle all but confirmed this, tweeting, "@joejonas heard where you guys were..extremely jealous..drink a coconut for me! Haha :)" It's not like those guys couldn't use a break.

Check out the rest of Tuesday's best tweets from celebs, including which "Glee" star can't put down "The Hunger Games." Follow us @hollywoodcrush for more celebrity and pop culture news around the clock!

For some of us it's the dashing tux, for others it's the daring leather jacket, but for "Water for Elephants" costume designer Jacqueline West, Robert Pattinson's best look in the upcoming film is without a doubt the working-man clothes his character dons right after joining the circus. This, of course, shouldn't come as too much of a surprise for those of you who have been following "WFE" news closely. After all, Jacqueline already admitted to us that she likes her RPattz "dirty and sweaty and dusty" (and really, who can blame her?!).

"I just loved him in the buckle back, 1930s Levi's with suspenders and the work shirt with boots, the bridges tucked in the boots," said Jacqueline. Oh, and speaking of the footwear, Rob's wearing authentic World War I boots in the movie.

Jacqueline said the look was one of her favorites because it revealed Rob’s form (which is apparently a lot "manlier" than it seems in "Twilight").

Taylor Momsen is one busy little starlet, as she's currently on hiatus from "Gossip Girl" to pursue her rock dreams as the lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Over the last few years, Taylor has certainly made a name for herself thanks to her singing chops, acting chops and some interesting sound bites that sometimes leave fans scratching their heads.

But TV's Little J says that she thinks people who judge her based on some cleverly edited magazine features aren’t really getting the full picture. "I'm sure anyone in the public eye would say there's misconceptions about them," she explained to us recently. "I think most of what's written about me is not accurate, but I'm talking tabloid stuff. I also think that people that read tabloids know that it's for entertainment and know that it's not real and it's gossip."

Normally camera shy "Twilight" couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart surprised their fans on Monday when they were photographed in a rather amorous pose. In the pic, the twosome were caught in the midst of a kiss while celebrating the premiere of Rob's "Water For Elephants" in New York City.

Admittedly, we've spotted the two looking love-dovey before, but this time seemed to really confirm their relationship status. In a number of snapshots taken that night, the two cuddled, laughed and kissed. These photos not only (finally!) gave hard evidence to all the "Are They Dating?" headlines, but also, in some way, shed some light on what their relationship is like. But will they finally confirm their relationship?
