Since her inspired appearance at this year's Costume Institute Gala, we've been seeing Ashley Greene in a whole new light. We're not sure what changed, but the girl's been on a role with her style lately—just check out her looks below at the premiere (and after-party) for her new movie '80s-set flick, "Skateland." In the movie, Ash dons a whole lot of "groovy" outfits (see what she told us about her '80s style), but her ensembles last night were anything but a throwback.
Ashley stepped out to the red carpet premiere in a loose fitting, pink gown that was belted at the waist. While some people might say the dress was a little underwhelming (we admit it could have used a little bling), we thought the simple style looked beautiful on her, and we loved the contrast between the light color of her dress and her dark wavy hair.
Of course, in true Hollywood fashion, Ashley did a quick wardrobe change before hitting the after-party. For the night-time event, Ashley smartly ditched her summery frock (although she kept the purse and the same hairstyle) and donned a dark mini-dress with glittery detailing. While we weren't offended by the look, we weren't in love with it either. You see, this is totally the kind of dress we'd pull out of our closets for a night on the town, but if that "night on the town" was an after-party for a movie we were starring in...well, let's just say we'd step it up a couple notches. Speaking of our closets though...we'd seriously like to add her black peep-toe pumps to our shoe collection!
