Little Freddie Highmore isn't little any more! The former child star is seamlessly making the transition to more mature flicks, and in honor of his evolution and the fact that he has a new movie opening this weekend, we are naming him our Hump Day Hottie.
Check out the video below of co-star Emma Roberts dishing on his "The Art of Getting By" character, and then keep reading for more details about him!
Vital Stats: The 19-year-old London native grew up not only acting but also deep in the world of show business. His mom is a talent agent and his dad is an actor. You know what they say? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
Where you might have already seen him: His resume is already quite impressive. How impressive? Well, these are the projects he's already racked up: two Johnny Depp movies, "Finding Neverland" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," as well as other high-profile films like "August Rush," "The Golden Compass" and "The Spiderwick Chronicles."
Why you should take notice of him now: Well, he's playing the adorable slacker George in the new New York City-set indie "The Art of Getting By" in which he's pining over the always adorable, Emma Roberts, who plays Sally. When George doesn't make a move, Sally begins dating Michael Angarano's Dustin instead. Will George get his act together? Will he end up with Sally? The movie opens this weekend, so that might be a good time to find out!
Until next week, when we chose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Freddie by pressing play on the video above!
