For every step we take toward discovering the true identity of A on "Pretty Little Liars," we take no fewer than 1 million steps back. With the show kicking off its second season last night, we can only hope this will be the year we learn who TV's most clandestine character is. Though we sort of doubt it.
Or do we? Hollywood Crush had the pleasure of speaking to Lucy Hale's "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song" co-star Freddie Stroma recently, and he was more than willing to take credit for wreaking havoc in Rosewood—one catty hint at a time—even if he hasn't actually appeared on the show.
"Yeah, I think they'll be a switch and the character will jump from our film and go into 'Pretty Little Liars,'" he told us. "Spread that around. You can tell everybody that I am A. If you do publish it, say it was Lucy Hale who said it."
We love that Freddie has a good sense of humor about it—maybe too good. "You can print that. That's verified. It's completely true," he said of being the creepy texter. Before he was through taking credit for all the shenanigans on "PLL," he also dropped another bombshell: "And while we're at it, I'm also Banksy too."
Well, since it's most likely that Freddie isn't A, or Banksy for that matter, we'll have to settle on seeing him share screen time with Lucy when "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song" hits DVD this fall.
Would Freddie Stroma be the best A ever, or what? Tell us what you think in the comments and on Twitter!
