Forget the Green Goblin—Cupid's the creature circling your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man nowadays.
In just the latest instance of life imitating art, Us Weekly reports that "The Amazing Spider-Man" co-stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have found love off-screen too!
"They got close during filming and have been hooking up," a source told the magazine, adding that they have yet to go public because Andrew just recently broke up with his longtime girlfriend, "Raising Hope" actress Shannon Woodward. (Emma's most recent relationship was with "Paper Man" co-star Kieran Culkin.)
In an interesting turn of events, Andrew and Emma aren't the only "Spider-Man" duo with romance rumors following them. "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" co-stars Reeve Carney (who plays the titular webslinger) and Jennifer Damiano (who plays Mary Jane) are also reportedly an item. (A rumor that's not too hard to believe after Reeve playfully told The New York Times that, "Jenn Damiano has the best lips in the biz.")
We'll be curious to see how Emma and Andrew's rumored relationship develops as the superhero flick swings towards its summer 2012 release date.
