How do you like your Logan Lerman? Yesterday we peeped his from-the-set self portrait in all his "Wallflower" glory. Today, we have a very different Logan for you—more swashbuckling than super nerd. Summit Entertainment has released the "Three Musketeers" poster, featuring a front and center, long-haired and leather-jacket-clad Logan.
In a much more daring turn than his "Perks of Being a Wallflower" role, Logan takes on the part of literary legend D’Artagnan, who, for those of you not familiar with the Musketeer story, is something of a badass. We're not opposed to seeing Logan shed a little of that good guy image we love so much. But even if you're a diehard Dumas buff, don't worry: These aren't your mom's musketeers.

What happens when Carly meets Tori? Hilarious antics ensue, of course! This Saturday in the epic "iCarly"/"Victorious" crossover episode, "iParty With Victorious," the worlds of the two hit Nickelodeon series collide. How does it all go down? The girls end up dating the same guy, causing Seattle native Carly to make the trek to L.A., where Tori lives, to find out what the deal is.
"Honestly, I thought it was going to be a lot of fun. I had known everybody on the 'Victorious' show, and I'm friends with all of them," Miranda Cosgrove explained to us at the show's L.A. premiere last week. "Everybody came together and we had a really good time.

Tyler Posey digs werewolves—or at least that's the conclusion we're drawing from his audition reel. Before landing the role of Scott McCall on MTV's new series "Teen Wolf," the 19-year-old was considered for another hair-raising part: "The Twilight Saga"'s Jacob Black—a role that ultimately went to Taylor Lautner. But thanks to "Teen Wolf," Tyler too can fulfill his wolfpack destiny and buy a lot of Gillette Mach3s in the process.
Though Taylor and Tyler share many similarities—jaw-dropping abs, luscious dark locks, toned arms (okay, stay focused...)—they aren't exactly two of a kind. Here's how the 19-year-old lycanthropes stack up, on- and off-screen:

For my fellow bookworms out there, I know you suffer from my pain: so many books, so little time to read them all! Especially in the evolving and increasingly intriguing genre of young-adult fiction. That's why we must rely upon one another to make noise about can't-miss reads. This post is dedicated to a book and an author who, if they're not already, MUST be on your radar from here on out.
Meet Josephine Angelini and her debut novel "Starcrossed," whose protagonist I highlighted recently in our Badass Supernatural Heroines of YA post. I don't want to get into too much plot detail here, because I really want you all to read this fantastically entertaining book, but in a nutshell, "Starcrossed" is the story of Helen Hamilton, a young woman who all her life has struggled to fit in due to the fact that she is different—in both appearance and seemingly abnormal abilities. All that changes when the Delos family moves to town and Helen meets the tall, dark, and "swimming pool blue-eyed" Lucas Delos.
I devoured this book in one sitting and absolutely HAD to track down Josephine for a chat about her captivating debut, the first part of which I present below.
After geeking out about our love for all things mythology, I asked Josephine to explain how she took the famous Helen of Troy and Paris saga from Homer's "The Iliad" and adapted it for modern times, in a way in which we actually empathize with the two lovestruck teens rather than flat out hate them.

With a resume full of projects like "Harry Potter," "Twilight," "Camelot" and now "The Mortal Instruments," actor Jamie Campbell Bower seems to have a thing for flicks with supernatural plots. Set to play Shadowhunter Jace Wayland in "City of Bones," it's certain that Jamie has pretty much locked his status as the go-to supernatural movie dude.
When we caught up with the Brit while promoting his Starz series "Camelot" (and before he nabbed his "Mortal Instruments" part), the subject of his resume came up, and he seemed completely fine with it.
"It's just the way that I look!" he laughed when we asked why he's turned up in so many supernatural stories. "It's the hair and the face and being English, I suppose. I've always just been draw to a great tale, I suppose. And with 'Twilight' and 'Potter' and 'Camelot,' you know, they were great, great stories that I really wanted to be a part of telling. I would, however, like to play Joe Blow in a romantic comedy. I think it would be exciting. It would be a challenge."

Jack of All Trades barely begins to describe Chris Colfer. Not only is the guy a triple threat on the Fox musical series, but his list of side projects is enough to keep at least two or three people busy, full time. He's writing a script for an independent film called "Struck by Lightning" (he will also star in the project). He's currently adapting the children's book "The Little Leftover Witch" as a pilot for Disney Channel. And on top of all that, he just signed a two-book deal with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers according to Entertainment Weekly. The first book will be called "The Land of Stories" and will follow the fairytale-meets-modern-life adventures of two twins.
But don't think Chris' ambition has sprouted in the wake of "Glee"'s success, though. He says he's been thinking about his book project since age 10.
"This book has been at the core of my imagination for a long time and I'm excited and nervous to share it," he said in a statement.
Our first instinct is to throw up a big yield sign and urge Chris to slow down for the love of all that is good, but we have a feeling nothing could curb this guy's drive. And if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right? With that attitude in mind, we've compiled a list of other jobs Chris should try his hand at—you know, in his spare time.

Veronica Roth's dystopian Chicago is one step closer to fruition! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Summit Entertainment has tapped Evan Daugherty to pen the screenplay for the film adaptation of Veronica's thriller "Divergent." Evan's been making a name for himself in the industry of late, with writing credits on Kristen Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Shrapnel."
Though "Divergent" debuted just last month, built-in buzz helped propel the novel into best-seller territory and secure a place in the hearts of YA fans. The story is set in a future world in which the population is divided into five factions, each embodying a different virtue (honesty, bravery, selflessness, peacefulness and intelligence). At 16 years old, each citizen undergoes an aptitude test and must then select which faction they will join. For Beatrice Prior, the decision thrusts her into an unfamiliar world of action and adventure. And an unexpected romance.
As production on the enthralling tale ramps up, we figured it was high time to take a seat on the Hollywood Crush Casting Couch to pick a few good girls for the role of Tris. Our blond heroine characterizes herself this way: "I see a narrow face, wide round eyes, and a long, thin nose—I still look like a little girl though sometime in the last few months I turned sixteen." Keeping those details in mind, here are our picks for one of the best YA protagonists around:

Logan Lerman showcased the Perks of Following His Twitter this week, uploading a whole slew of pictures straight from the "Perks of Being a Wallflower" set. The movie has been gaining plenty of hype, and Logan's set pics have only increased the buzz. With a cast full of the hottest young stars in Hollywood, this isn't exactly surprising. Unlike carefully selected studio stills, Logan's photos capture the cast in everyday action. What do the candids say about the cast members though? Let's take a look at some of the highlights.

Emma Watson: Totally like Hermione after all
It'll take more than a pixie cut for Emma to shake the bookworm rep that came courtesy of her decade-long turn as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" franchise. Logan caught the real-life reader in the act, brushing up on the film's source material (and sporting some pretty amazing mascara—her lashes are approximately three feet long).

We've had a beast of a girl crush on Emma Stone ever since "Superbad," but after seeing her latest feature in July's ELLE magazine, that shizz just went up to eleven. Confident, cool and still rocking her blond "Spider-Man" dye job in a quirky photo shoot, Emma makes the ultimate down-to-earth summer cover girl. And just when you thought you couldn't love her more, here she goes in her interview—quipping hilariously about fame, baking and how hard she rocks at Farmville.
Farmville!
"I got to level 42, and I wasn’t doing anything else anymore, so I had to stop," Emma admitted. (Girl, we know how you feel. Wanna trade tips on sheep husbandry?) But with her career blowing up, the actress doesn't have time to mess around with virtual crops anymore—although we're glad to see that she's with-it enough to be circumspect about her personal life. ("You have to keep some things sacred," she said, declining to talk about her former relationship with Kieran Culkin) And judging by her detached attitude, it's probably safe to say that the fame hasn't really sunk in yet.

Big sis Dakota may have a few years on her, but 13-year-old Elle Fanning is playing catch-up quite nicely in the movies department. After films like "Babel" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," Elle is taking on her most high-profile project yet with this week's buzzy J.J. Abrams romp "Super 8."
Elle plays Alice Dainard, the lone girl in a group of kids who witness a mysterious train crash and capture it on film while making a lo-fi zombie flick. It's probably not hard to guess that as the only rose among thorns, Alice is the crush-object of several of the neighborhood boys. And you know what? We're going to echo those sentiments and declare Elle Fanning this week's Girl Crush!
As is customary, in exchange for the honor, we asked Elle to reveal her own Girl Crush.
"[I have] a huge one on Alexa Chung—her fashion, everything," she said of the former MTV host and English model. "I went to the Met Ball and met her, and I was like, 'Oh my god. I can't even believe it.' I couldn't contain myself."
We have a feeling girls everywhere will start feeling that way about you, Miss Fanning, after they see your amazing work in "Super 8"!
Do you plan on seeing "Super 8" this weekend?
