Few would accuse Hollywood Crush of being a politically minded blog, but if you ask us, there should be a law requiring all hunky gentlemen to simultaneously doff their tops the second summer makes its official return (which, coincidentally, was minutes ago at 1:16 p.m. ET).

Until that legislation passes the House and Senate, we'll console ourselves with this year's bounty of bare-chested men on screen. As we scanned 2011's roster of remaining flicks, we couldn't help but notice a dearth of ogle-worthy material. So without further ado, our summer solstice gift to you: a shirtless guide to the back-half of 2011 cinema.

Movie: "Captain America: The First Avenger"
Release date: July 22
Eye candy: Chris Evans
Shirtless anticipation index: There's no arguing Chris' post-transformation physique is jaw-dropping. But we had to deduct two points from his initial score thanks to his pre-Cap showing as that creepy, CGI-ed pipsqueak Steve Rogers. If only we could take advantage of Chris' washboard abs to cleanse that image from our minds. 6/10

We've been oohing and ahhing for weeks over the HBO-official trailer for the soon-to-be-released fourth season of "True Blood"—but with just a few days left to wait, GQ magazine has thrown us a bonus preview of coming attractions, in the form of Joe Manganiello's glorious, rippling, sun-bronzed abs. (What can we say? GQ: they know what we like!)

The series' resident werewolf hottie hooked up with a high-fashion photog and took a trip to the Greek island of Santorini, where he put his hard-earned physique on full display. Not that he's vain about it; the choice quote from his brief interview has him insisting that all that musclebound hotness is strictly business, and that "if Alcide was described as weighing 300 pounds with a comb-over and missing his front teeth, that's what I would look like."

Okay, okay. We admit that headline is a bit misleading, however factually accurate it may be. But it made you look, right?

June 20 is indeed Edward's special day—the perpetual 17-year-old turns the ripe old age of 110 years old. Born Edward Anthony Masen on June 20, 1901, in Chicago, the "Twilight" character has been witness to many life-changing events over his century-plus. Prohibition, the Great Depression, World War II, the lunar landing—he's seen it all. And, regrettably, fallen victim to more than a few fashion fads along the way.

In honor of Edward's birthday, we decided to take a look back at his sartorial sense (using alter ego Robert Pattinson as a model, natch), from the roaring '20s to the present day. Feast your eyes and let us know what you think! (We're definitely hoping that floral mankini makes a cameo during a "Breaking Dawn" honeymoon scene!)

She's got a hit TV show, "Victorious," and a fledgling movie career thanks to "Fun Size," and now Victoria Justice is looking to kick start her music career. She's already proved she's got the skills to pay the bills on her hit Nick show, so now the teen star is working on her very own musical side project.

"I have been, been writing a lot, and it's been like the most fun experience ever," she told Hollywood Crush a few weeks back. "Just working a lot on my album and being true to myself and also the 'Victorious' soundtrack, which is gonna be out soon."

The soundtrack drops July 12. Fans of the singer are already jamming out to her crushy pop anthem, "Best Friend's Brother," and the video features a dreamy guy who Victoria imagines being with quite vividly. "The videos about me having a crush on my best friend's brother and me not wanting her to know but wanting to spend some alone time with him," she said of the playful clip. "So it was really fun."

Well, we know at least one song New Directions will dance down the aisle to come season three: "Pomp and Circumstance."

According to creator and show runner Ryan Murphy, the "Glee" gang we've come to know and love will indeed graduate at the end of the third season. (This would be the year to take the Nationals title, guys!)

"That is true," Ryan told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, when asked if he'd be casting an entirely new "Glee" generation. "I don’t think of it in terms of eliminating or replacing. Because I think the thing about this cast is people love them and they are incredibly talented. They’ve left sort of an indelible mark.

"The thing that I wanted to do and the cast wanted to do, we didn’t want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years," he continued. "We really wanted it to be true to that experience. We thought it would be really cool if we were true to the timeline."

Ryan emphasized that Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch would stay on as the "linchpins" of the series.

If you've been twiddling your thumbs and chewing the woodwork in anticipation of next month's release of the final film in the "Harry Potter" saga, here's a way to take the edge off while you wait: a good, old-fashioned betting pool full of witchy hijinks and wizardly whimsy! The godforsaken gambling addicts fun-loving folks over at MTV Movies Blog have opened up the bracket for voting, and now's your chance to throw in for your favorite characters in the epic battle of the Harry Potter World Cup.

Make no mistake: The actual outcome of the books themselves don't enter into this round of magical dueling. It's anyone's ballgame (or Quidditch match), and it's up to you (yes, YOU!) to determine who triumphs. Could evil Lucius Malfoy out-magic the bumbling Gilderoy Lockhart? Would Neville Longbottom's herbology knowledge give him an edge against Fenrir Greyback? Is anyone a bigger bitchwitch than Bellatrix?! Head over to the Movies Blog to get your vote on!

We're back in the Rosewood city limits, and it feels so good. With last week's season two premiere of "Pretty Little Liars," we picked up right where we left off on the series' juicy, twisty plotline. And while all the liars are under suspicion after Ian's supposed death, we have to admit Spencer (played by Troian Bellisario) is in the most precarious position following the disappearance of her no-good brother-in-law. Despite being forced into therapy and told to take some time off from her friends, Spencer seems to be keeping it together pretty well.

In honor of "PLL"'s return and Troian's intriguing story arc, we're making her this week's Girl Crush!

When we caught up with Troian recently, we asked her to give her own definition of a Girl Crush. "I think a Girl Crush is a girl who you think is stunningly beautiful, charismatic, smart, just somebody you admire and in your spare time, [you're like], 'God, I wish I was a little bit more like her,'" she said.

Who fits the bill for Troian? None other than lovely "Inception" star Marion Cotillard.

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

We've long suspected in our heart of hearts that "Vampire Diaries" stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were an item. There are only so many music festivals to attend and European cities to visit together before it's obvious something is going on. And here's yet another piece of evidence nearly proving what we already knew: The pair attended the MuchMusic Video Awards together—like together, together—on Sunday night.

Nina, a Canadian native and former "Degrassi" star, and her "TVD" cast mate were introduced as a "beautiful couple"—a moniker neither of the actors seemed to dispute—during the show's live red carpet.
