Dominic Cooper caught our eye a while ago thanks to his good looks and charming disposition. He's proven he can star in just about anything and steal the show, and this week he's in his first-ever comic book adaptation, "Captain America: The First Avenger," playing a World War II techie. Also, he's easy on the eyes, so we're naming him this week's Hump Day Hottie.
Check out this dreamy photo of Dominic, and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital Stats: Dom grew up in the Greenwich neighborhood of London and honed his acting chops at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Where you might have already seen him: His resume includes a bit of everything, from war dramas like "Band of Brothers" and the unusual odyssey flick "Breakfast on Pluto," to period pieces like "An Education" and romantic musical comedies like "Mamma Mia!," starring his ex-lady love Amanda Seyfried.
Why you should take notice of him now: This week he's on the big screen playing Howard Stark. You know, Iron Man's dad, and he's just as much a cad as his son. He also happens to be the guy who designs Captain America's shield and costume.
And that's not the only high-profile project on his docket. Upcoming flicks include "The Devil's Double," "My Week With Marilyn" and "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter."
Until next week, when we chose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Dominic by gawking at the picture above!
