"You just get lubed up and jump right into it!" RPattz laughed when MTV News caught up with him at San Diego Comic-Con. "You have to have some tantric breathing and stuff."
And if you feel like bringing something a little special to the date, there's always room for some aerobic board games. "You're playing Twister," Rob deadpanned when asked what the filming process is like.
In all seriousness, Rob didn't find shooting the intimate scene any easier, even though he's known costar Kristen Stewart for four years now. Even with the rumors circling them, saying they're in a relationship (or married, or living together, or preggo, depending on which gossip rag you read), RPattz still found filming the sexier scenes very uncomfortable.
"Everyone always says it about sex scenes in movies — it's really awkward and blah, blah, blah — but it is!" he said.
Fortunately that hasn't put him off to ever working with Kristen again. He has "Bel Ami" and "Cosmopolis" to look forward to, while Kristen has a big tentpole in "Snow White and the Huntsman," but Rob seemed to like the idea of the two of them coming back together on a project in the future.
"I'd love to. Definitely," he told us without hesitation. "I don't know how audiences would respond to it or whatever, [but] I'd love to."
