Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
"Wild" certainly characterizes this new shot of Ryan Gosling from the upstate New York set of his new movie, "The Place Beyond the Pines." The 30-year-old apparently made friends with a bottle of peroxide and a Sharpie (see the exclamation-mark-shaped tat next to his eye?) to transform into a motorcycle stunt rider for the crime drama, which also stars Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes and Ray Liotta and reunites him with "Blue Valentine" director Derek Cianfrance.
Ryan seems to have an affinity of late for characters caught behind the wheel. After this weekend's "Crazy, Stupid, Love," he'll next appear in "Drive," portraying a laconic Hollywood stunt performer who moonlights as a wheelman.
Frankly, be it by plane, train, automobile or motorbike, we'd let Ryan drive us anywhere.
