Lily CollinsIt may be 586 degrees across most of the country today, but the only thing on our minds is "Snow."

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we're getting a sneak peek at one of the two Snow Whites who'll be on the big screen in 2012: the magazine has an exclusive look at Lily Collins as the famously fair heroine, in full royal regalia! (Check out their website for the full image.)

The photo is all the proof we needed that this "Snow White" (as opposed to the grittier "Snow White and the Huntsman," starring Kristen Stewart) is pure pretty princess. Lily herself took the time to gush enthusiastically over the glamorous costumes, and, I mean, just look at those sleeves. But don't let her shell-shocked expression fool you—the actress wants you to know that the froufy dress won't stop Snow from getting down and dirty, as the film sees her shed her passive fairy-tale persona and come out swinging before the credits roll.

GleeThe 2011 MTV Video Music Award nominees were announced last night, and as you might expect, divas like Katy Perry and Adele lead the charge with nine and seven nods each. While there's no doubt it's been a good year for the gurls, when we took a closer look at the list, we noticed another interesting piece of trivia: a number of the nominees have also been covered by McKinley High's New Directions! (You know what they say about great minds...)

When our two worlds collide, we just can't help but comment, so keep reading after the jump to see which ditties' praises are being sung by both the VMAs and "Glee"!

It's hard to believe the man who brought "SexyBack" would ever find SexyTimes awkward, but once you add in a slew of gaffers, PAs and best boys (whatever they do), we can understand how the act might become a little less titillating. But being the consummate performer that he is, Justin Timberlake took it all in stride while filming the romantic comedy "Friends With Benefits" alongside Mila Kunis. In fact, it was awkwardness that made the experience less awkward. (Yeah, that logic hurts our heads, too.)

"In the world of awkward sex scenes, these were, in fact, less awkward because we were required to make them awkward as the characters, and we were going for laughs and that breaks the ice a little bit, so you feel like you don't have to portray something a certain way," Justin explained.

Though photos of a "made-under" Vanessa Hudgens just recently surfaced online, the starlet has actually been sporting her choppy, blunt haircut for nearly two months while filming the teen pregnancy drama "Gimme Shelter."

"I cut it off as soon as I started the film which was about two months ago," Vanessa said when we caught up with her recently at a Neutrogena Wave for Change event, just days after she wrapped filming. "We've been shooting in the middle of nowhere, in some pretty hood areas—abandoned hospitals—so it took a while for the paparazzi to figure out where I was, which I am very thankful about."

Dominic Cooper caught our eye a while ago thanks to his good looks and charming disposition. He's proven he can star in just about anything and steal the show, and this week he's in his first-ever comic book adaptation, "Captain America: The First Avenger," playing a World War II techie. Also, he's easy on the eyes, so we're naming him this week's Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this dreamy photo of Dominic, and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital Stats: Dom grew up in the Greenwich neighborhood of London and honed his acting chops at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

No, this isn't a sneak peek from a very special episode of "True Blood" titled "Eric Northman Goes To College"; it's a real, live Alexander Skarsgård getting a real, live doctorate degree from Leeds Metropolitan University in England! Alexander was one of nine talented individuals to receive an honorary degree from the university for the achievement of general awesomeness. (Okay, so the actual piece of paper says "Doctorate in the Arts." Whatever.)

Alexander smiled and doffed his traditional hat as he showed off his diploma—and showed the world at large just how swoon-worthy our favorite Swede is even when he's not in vampire drag. Big congrats to ASkars on a well-deserved honor! He can borrow a book from our academic library anytime.
