Could a "Golden Girl" be added to the Marine Corps Ball guest list?
Following in the footsteps of two fellow marines who asked out "Friends With Benefits" co-stars Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake via YouTube, Marine Sgt. Ray Lewis has created his own online video to request the presence of 89-year-old Betty White.
"She's funny. She's sweet. She's mature. She's an all-around perfect woman," Ray said, explaining his unconventional pick.
No word yet from Betty's camp regarding the invite.

Talk about welcome wedding crashers! Gossip Cop reports that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez made a surprise appearance at two strangers' post-nuptial reception, after the wedding DJ played Justin's "One Less Lonely Girl" for the gathered guests. No, it wasn't a planned cameo; the pair overheard the song during a nighttime stroll on the beach and decided to see where the music was coming from. The two popped in, posed for pictures with the newlywed couple and their guests, and then politely took their leave. (No word on whether they stayed long enough to eat cake.)
Meanwhile, we couldn't help thinking about which other celebrity couples we'd love to have as surprise, uninvited guests at one of the 3 million weddings we have to attend this summer. For instance...

What a weekend! "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is now the record-holder for top-grossing opening weekend, pulling in more than $475 million globally and $168 million domestically. Yowza! If those numbers are any indication, the movie franchise has millions of dedicated fans. Plus, according to ABC News, about 450 million copies of "Harry Potter" books have been sold, a number that’s sure to keep skyrocketing once Pottermore launches with e-books for sale.
There’s no doubt about it: We Muggles love us some Potter. Now that we’ve seen all eight movies and read all 10 books (you know you devoured "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," "Quidditch Through the Ages" and "The Tales of Beedle the Bard"), the ultimate question remains: Do you prefer the movie franchise or the book series? Would you rather watch Dan, Emma and Rupert on screen or read J.K. Rowling’s prose?
Take our poll after the jump and let us know if the "Harry Potter" movies or books reign supreme.

And the fairy tale continues...
Once upon a time, Katie (Lucy Hale) was a talented singer dreaming of hitting it big...if only her cruel stepmother (Missi Pyle) and stepsister (Megan Park) didn't stand in her way. And Prince Charming? Well, that'd be Luke ("Harry Potter"'s Freddie Stroma) who falls in love with evil sis when he mistakes Katie's amazing vocals for hers. Will Katie live happily ever after? You'll have to watch "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song" when it comes to DVD and download on September 6 to find out!
In the meantime, we've snagged an EXCLUSIVE clip from the opening scene of the song-and-dance flick. And talk about sweet dreams! Katie conjures up an extravagant music video set, in which she belts out the catchy "Run This Town," the first single off the upcoming "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song" soundtrack.

When we last saw Eric Northman, he'd just drained Claudine like a human juicebox, despite Sookie's horrified protestations. And now, here's a new wrinkle on meek, amnesiac season four Eric: happy-go-lucky drunk Eric! Turns out that faerie blood has a powerful intoxicating effect, and Mr. Northman is stumbling around like a Real Housewife after one too many lunchtime highballs. Sookie stalks away toward the house. Eric follows her and...pinches her butt.
Butt-pinching! It ain't biting, but it'll do.
And then, because Drunk Amnesiac Eric is a very naughty boy indeed, he flips Sook a wave and bolts for whereabouts unknown.
Several hours later, Sookie is still looking for him—in broad daylight, which Eric is happily running around in thanks to the sun-deflecting effects of his Claudine cocktail. And since a search like this calls for someone with a good nose, she's called Alcide back to help. He strips down and shifts (and HOLYOMG, did we almost just see Alcide's were-wang?!), and off they go to the forest, where they discover Eric frolicking in a pond.
Yes, frolicking.

"Breaking Dawn" star Jackson Rathbone has been working nonstop since wrapping the vampire saga earlier this year. The actor/musician is currently on the road with his band 100 Monkeys, hitting towns all across the U.S. before taking their act oversees later this year.
The band stopped by MTV News headquarter today (before their NYC show Saturday night!) for a fun chat, giving us the scoop on what fans can expect from their tour.
"It’s a raucous theatrical live set constantly switching instruments and singers and jumping and running around on stage," band member Ben Graupner said. "Very interactive with the audience, we pull ideas from the crowd and make up a song on the spot; people will come out of nowhere and start rapping. You really don’t know what to expect except for a smile and a good time."

It all ends. In anticipation of the boy wizard's final chapter, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," we asked you Potter-obsessed Crushers to help us with a fun little project: sorting your favorite celebrities into the appropriate Hogwarts houses.
We started with the "Twilight" cast, progressed to the biz's tastiest pop tarts, Mystic Falls' hot sons and daughters, Hollywood's best eye candy and concluded with the cast of HBO's sexy "True Blood."

The results of our Celebrity Sorting Hat feature were both surprising and kind of unsurprising (as you might expect). Not surprising? Robert Pattinson being sorted into alter-ego Cedric Diggory's house, Hufflepuff (though Gryffindor was a strong runner-up). Surprising? Only three stars were placed in Ravenclaw, a house known for its creativity and wit. Seems wrong since so many celebs boast these attributes.
Keep reading after the jump to see where your favorite celebs landed!

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Naomi Clark may be pining after bespectacled nerd Max on "90210," but the West Bever's real-life alter ego AnnaLynne McCord is keeping company with a new (much older) man.
In between takes on the set of her CW series, the 23-year-old starlet was snapped getting cozy with new beau, 41-year-old "Prison Break" actor Dominic Purcell. (Yes, that is a butt grab you see!)
According to Just Jared, the two have been dating for a few months. "They're really cute together and have been keeping it fun," a source spilled.

Drum roll please. This week’s Style Superstar is…Emma Watson! Now, we know what you’re thinking: Wasn’t Emma last week’s Style Superstar?" Lest you become too concerned, we haven’t been Confunded. We just think that Emma completely nailed it, so we had to give her props once again. Unfortunately, we can’t say the same for another witchy actress. Keep reading to find out why Emma's still No.1, and who’s style could use a little magical intervention.

Emma stopped by the "Late Show with David Letterman" in a Kristen Stewart-esque Balmain one-sleeved sparkly dress. We’ve commented before that Emma has two sides to her style personality—romantic versus edgy—so after playing to the former at the "Deathly Hallows" premiere after party in Elie Saab, she switched to the latter for this occasion. With Louboutin cork wedges, simple jewelry and Emma’s petite figure, this on-trend dress is 100 percent Style Superstar. If she keeps up this fashionable streak, we may just have to rename this the Emma Watson Award in her honor. Ten points for Gryffindor!
