Jim Sturgess has everything one needs to be a Hump Day Hottie. He’s multi-talented, good looking, makes great flicks and happens to be in the one movie opening this weekend that we’re excited to see, "One Day." So, that’s why this week he’s our Hump Day Hottie.

Vital stats: Doing research on Jim made us swoon over him even more. The 30-year-old Brit studied his craft at University of Salford's School of Media, Music and Performance. He then wrote, produced and starred in a one-man act based on—wait for it—his own poetry. He’s also been in some bands. So he does it all. Enough said, right? He also has super-cool taste in ladies. His girl is Mickey O'Brien. You know, from the band La Roux.
Where you might have already seen him: His resume is jam-packed with various projects that showcase his many, many sides, like "Across The Universe" (singing!), "The Other Boleyn Girl" (old-timey dreaminess!) and "21" (gambling prowess!). He’s also done a bit of TV and voice work in the big-budget flick "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole."
Why you should take notice of him now: This week he stars alongside Anne Hathaway in the weepy romance, "One Day." Will Dex and Emma end up together? Okay, so the book kind of spoils it for you, but that doesn’t mean we will! He’s also got some other upcoming flicks including "Ashes" and "Upside Down" (featuring Kirsten Dunst), about a man on an odyssey to find his true love. Um, Jim, we're right here!
