The winners of Oxygen's "The Glee Project" have been announced, with two new guys headed to the halls of McKinley High this fall! "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy chose both 18-year-old Damian McGinty (left) and 19-year-old Samuel Larsen to appear on the Fox series in seven-episode story arcs.

Thought both actors have been sitting on the results since April (when the final episode filmed), they confessed to The Hollywood Reporter that they still know little about the characters they'll play. Though they did pass along a few of Ryan's musings.
"Ryan told me, for example, he sees me coming in as an exchange student, starting off quite lonely and vulnerable but ending up being a leader-type character of the glee club," Damian said. While Samuel revealed, "I know he looks at me as a Christian character that you wouldn’t expect to be a Christian character, which I love. I know he wants me to be the indie rocker that 'Glee' doesn’t have."
That still leaves a lot to suss out, including how each will fit into the Lima, Ohio, social stratosphere. Which is where we come in! Check out our theories for "Glee"'s newest additions after the jump.
Okay, so there is a little bit known about the role Ryan wrote for the "Glee Project" winner; it's just unclear which winner will get this part. Apparently either Samuel or Damian will play a new student whom Sue Sylvester ends up hating even more than she hates the glee club. The horror!
We're placing our bets on it being Samuel, because with his dreads and nose ring he looks like just the type of person who will drive Sue up a wall. But there's got to be some other aspect of his character that makes the "Glee" hateorator dislike him more than New Directions. Hopefully it's not too difficult to wash slushy out of dreadlocks.
Which leaves Damian. Maybe it's the special place in our hearts for his Irish brogue, but we're hoping Damian becomes a love interest who throws a wrench into one of our favorite couples' relationship. Finn and Rachel, maybe? Or even Kurt and Blaine? Since Damian is only sticking around for seven episodes, it gives plenty of time for whatever couple he splits up to get back together by the end of season.
