The beginning of fall can be a tough thing for some people: back to school, chilly weather, no more beach trips. But thankfully it also means the new television season is right around the corner! To help ease us into an autumnal frame of mind, "Glee" has released their first promo video of the upcoming third season!
In the brief bite, Sue Sylvester pelts the cast using bright red dodgeballs (and with an assist from loyal Cheerio Becky) to the high-energy '80s hit "We Got the Beat." You can't help but think the gang is having fun even if they're trying to protect themselves from a dodgeball assault.
The 30-second clip may also hint at some themes for the new season: Mr. Schuester is walking with Ms. Pillsbury (who, true to neat-freak form, is seen cleaning up the dodgeballs at the very end of the clip) and Brittany and Santana are back in their Cheerio uniforms. It's also nice to see some of my favorite returning characters, like Blaine and Coach Beiste. As excited as this clip makes me for the new season of "Glee," it sure rubs some salt in the wound that my beloved Trouty Mouth—I mean, Sam—will no longer be part of the club.
