While "Pretty Little Liars" fans are kept awake at night trying to figure out who A is, why he/she is torturing Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, and who killed their friend Alison, ABC Family is giving us an entirely new puzzle to work out, "The Lying Game." And we know it's going to be filled with creepy plot twists, characters we'll simultaneously love and hate and a touch of romantic intrigue because it's based on another book series by "PLL" author Sara Shepard. And before you tune in to the show (which premieres on Monday, August 15, at 9 p.m), we suggest making the first two installments, "The Lying Game" and "Never Have I Ever," your Summer Beach Reads of the weekend.
With the same combination of dark mystery and wry humor as "PLL," "The Lying Game" is told from the perspective of Sutton Mercer, a popular rich girl from Arizona who just happens to be dead and somehow finds herself a hovering, unseen presence over the twin sister she never knew she had.
"I wanted to do another mystery... I wanted to do something edgy, in the same way 'Pretty Little Liars' was," Sara told us on the phone from her home in Philadelphia.

The cast of "Glee" spends enough time playing high-schoolers to know about the pressures that come with being a teen. So if being on the big screen wasn’t uncomfortable enough, the McKinley High gang have a whole new dimension to worry about in "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie," opening today.
"Two dimensions is the right amount," star Chris Colfer joked when we caught up with him at the film's junket recently. But he won't get off that easily! We just had to ask him and the rest of the "Glee"sters which feature they were most excited to see in 3D.
Both Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz thought of their lovely locks. "I want to see hair whipping at me," Jenna said.

We're ready for the "Abduction" to begin!
A new minute-long trailer for Taylor Lautner's action-thriller has hit the web, and where the first was heavy on hero Nathan's backstory and his fledgling romance with classmate Karen (Lily Collins), this new glimpse is all action, all the time.

The clip opens with Nathan sparring with his dad (Jason Isaacs)—or at least the man he thinks is his dad. Though it appears the duo are simply working up a sweat, knowing Nathan's parents aren't who they seem, it's clear faux-father is training Nathan for unforeseen complications arising from his true identity. What follows in the rather sparse teaser is a quick click of gun fire, shattering glass and car explosions, culminating in that nifty scene where Taylor slides down a glass building. No big deal.

Hold on to your knickers because everyone's favorite saucy singleton is returning to the silver screen!
Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that the long-gestating third "Bridget Jones's Diary" movie is finally a go. No further details regarding the Working Title Films production—including whether stars Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth or Hugh Grant will return—were available.
When rumors began swirling in 2009 that Renee would pen another page in Bridget's diary, it was thought the plot would center around Ms. Jones trying to have a baby in her 40s—a similar story arc to the one author Helen Fielding is basing her third novel on.

No, you can't get away from Kristen Stewart in these final months as we count down to the release of "Breaking Dawn." And no, you don't want to—especially not when she's giving an interview like this!
Kristen is on the cover of the new W magazine, and inside—appropriately—she's leaving no doubts abut having left little-girl-hood behind for good. Sporting this summer's ubiquitous ruffle-necked Gucci dress (and a pair of superpouty lips that we've never, ever seen before), Kristen is ultra-grown-up as she talks about how she got started in acting, what she's doing now and closing the door forever on Bella Swan.
This interview is packed with choice quotes, but our favorites (naturally) are the behind-the-scenes scoop that offer some insight into what it was like on the set of the "Twilight" films in those final weeks.
Tie on your Merlotte's apron and grab a bottle of Tru Blood, because we're headed back to Bon Temps for another year.
HBO announced today that they've renewed "True Blood" for a fifth season, which will go into production later this year, and we couldn't be more thrilled. All together now: SOOKEH!
Creator Alan Ball didn't seem to have any doubts about the show coming back for another year during last month's Comic-Con, teasing several different plot points that will be hit in future seasons. And, not surprisingly, we also have a few ideas about what we'd like to see happen in season five of "True Blood." Check ours (and his) out after the jump! (Slightly spoilery if you haven't read the book series!)

With "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" set to delight audiences this weekend and three beloved cast members "graduating" at the end of the season, it's highly necessary that the whole cast finish things off with a bang. And what better way to do that than some classic, bona fide, high-school-style senior superlatives? So we took it to the whole "Glee" cast and asked them to name, off the cuff, their picks for a bunch of bests, worsts and most-likely-tos. (Only unlike our own high school class, we won't be crowning anyone with the self-esteem-shattering title of "Most Likely To End Up In Prison." Why are teenagers so MEAN?)
Most likely to mess up choreography
Harry Shum Jr., Heather Morris and Kevin McHale all say, "Cory [Monteith]," in unison. But Heather isn't sure: "Wait, but no. But yes? But... MARK," she says. Okay, that was too funny; we'll call it a draw.

Leave it to Liam Hemsworth to make even the dreaded Reaping look good.
The latest still from the set of "The Hunger Games" film adaptation hit the web last night, and it depicts a smoldering Liam (as Katniss' childhood friend Gale) gazing out from a mob of boys at The Reaping—the lottery-style ceremony to select participants for the novel's titular death match.
And all I can say is, Hello, Gale! Can we—just for a second—talk about how incredibly amazing Liam looks? I'm left wondering if the Aussie is, in fact, too good-looking to play Gale.

"Vampire Diaries" fans, get ready to meet a character who’s about to out-bad Klaus!
Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Sebastian Roche, who you might know best as Balthazar on “Supernatural” or Jerry Jax on "General Hospital" (or maybe that last one’s just us...), is headed to town this fall as a "mysterious vampire hunter," who even has our favorite hybrid biting his claws.
"For some reason, Klaus, who shouldn’t be afraid of anybody, seems to be concerned about this person," Julie Plec told EW. While the details on this new character are still sparse, fans can expect to see him pop-up somewhere within the first half of the season.

The key to any good onscreen romance is a certain level of chemistry between the lead actors, so it comes as no surprise that "One Day" stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess were asked to do a chemistry read before they were cast in their weepy romance. But what exactly is a chemistry read? Considering many actors have never met before auditioning—as was the case with the "One Day" leads—MTV News was curious what type of process went into discovering if they had that certain something. It turns out it's a bit more complex than it might seem.
"It's when they sort of put you in room like a blind date and they just watch to sort of see if chemistry sort of flies off you and attaches itself to the other person," Jim explained before his leading lady butted it.
"[They look at] what color the chemistry is assuming that there is chemistry, and then they run that chemistry color through a lab and there's an algorithm that they plug it into and if that chemistry equals the box office Do Re Mi, then maybe you will get the part," Anne dead-panned.
