OK, we've given you a couple of days to finish "Bloodlines," the first book in Richelle Mead's "Vampire Academy" spin-off series. And if you're like us, that last line made you throw the book across the room, scream and then rush to the internet to find out when book two is coming out. I mean, really. The lady knows how to torture us.
Maybe it's the fact that she has a baby due, literally any minute now, but Richelle gave in to our begging and consented to give us a few tiny hints about what we'll get from "The Golden Lily" when it comes out in June 2012 (aaargh!).
(SPOILER-ish ALERT if you haven't finished "Bloodlines"!)

By now, you've heard the good news that the lovely Selena Gomez will be MTV's black-carpet bestie at the upcoming Video Music Awards: co-hosting our live, special pre-show segment and schmoozing it up with the stars we love. (It all goes down Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT!)
But before the big night rolls around, it's important to make sure she's prepared...and because the Hollywood Crush staff have been around the VMA block a time or two—and because, when it comes to the habits of highly effective pre-show hosts, we know all the things—we're offering Selena a little of our own expert advice on how to avoid five common on-camera blunders! Because when it's live and anything can happen, you should absolutely not, under any circumstances, break the following rules:

The beginning of fall can be a tough thing for some people: back to school, chilly weather, no more beach trips. But thankfully it also means the new television season is right around the corner! To help ease us into an autumnal frame of mind, "Glee" has released their first promo video of the upcoming third season!
In the brief bite, Sue Sylvester pelts the cast using bright red dodgeballs (and with an assist from loyal Cheerio Becky) to the high-energy '80s hit "We Got the Beat." You can't help but think the gang is having fun even if they're trying to protect themselves from a dodgeball assault.

Looks like Ryan Gosling—not to mention movie audiences who have flocked to see "Crazy, Stupid, Love" and "The Help"—isn't the only one to fall for Emma Stone this summer! Jim Carrey used his website to post a video that can only be described as a love confessional for the actress. In it, the 49-year-old star looks directly into the camera as he softly describes what their life would be like if they didn't have such a big age difference (she's 22!) and could be together.

The funnyman announces to Emma (and, well the whole freakin' world, really) , "I think you're all the way beautiful, not just pretty. [You're] smart and kind-hearted, and if I were a lot younger, I would marry you." Jim then goes on to describe his fantasy life with Emma, which involves them having a gaggle of "chubby little freckle-faced kids" and "laugh all day long and go camping and play Yahtzee and tell ghost stories by the fire."

You've probably heard by now (and if you haven't, you're likely huddled in a cave somewhere) that the first look at the big-screen adaptation of "The Hunger Games" will catch fire this Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards. While that's still several days away, we have something to temper your hunger until then: a teeny, tiny morsel of the footage in question!
Click play on the video below to watch "The Hunger Games" VMA promo!
Obviously, we couldn't give too much away here, but you will see the iconic Mockingjay symbol ablaze and a quick clip of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) in her Hunger Games uniform, ducking from some unseen danger. (And knowing the arena, there's no shortage of deadly menaces to choose from...)

FROM MOVIES BLOG: Move over Tom Cruise and Matt Damon, because Taylor Lautner is coming to steal the title of Hollywood's resident action star.
Mark Wahlberg already told Leonardo DiCaprio that the "Twilight Saga" star has put them out of a job, and it's about time that the Sylvester Stallones and Bruce Willis's of the world get the clue as well as a new action hero is born. Lautner's upcoming flick "Abduction" is looking like it's going to be the action movie for the new generation, and it's the 19-year-old's badass physicality that makes the film something to look forward to.
"Taylor's not only a really fabulous actor, he's also a gifted athlete," "Abduction" costar Jason Isaacs said in a recently released featurette about the movie. "He could take the entire crew with his hands tied behind his back."

Selena Gomez might currently be making headlines because she is Miss Justin Bieber, but the 19-year-old triple-threat is a certified starlet in her own right. She's a Disney Channel icon, a platinum-selling musical artist and a box-office queen, and she's done it all before the age of 20. Selena's next big gig is co-hosting the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show this Sunday, so we figured now is as good a time as any to look back at Selena's evolution into an A-list teen star.
Born in Grand Prairie, Texas, on July 22, 1992, Selena was inspired to go into acting by her mother, stage actress Mandy Teefey. She got her big start on television at age seven when she played Gianna on "Barney & Friends," and then transitioned to film thanks to small roles in "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" and "Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire." After two years in Hollywood, Selena was discovered by the Disney Channel during a nationwide scouting, and she quickly became a part of a new generation of Disney stars.

Any day we get to chat with "True Blood" star Joe Manganiello is a good day. So imagine our delight when we heard that the tall, dark and handsome man would like to venture outside the generic interview box and take us on a little tour of one of his favorite places in Los Angeles—the city's "graffiti hall of fame."
File this one under interesting and educational. Click play on the video below to see the very pretty and very knowledgeable Mr. Manganiello in his artsy element. If you've not considered walking through street art exhibits before, we guarantee that Joe's expertise and impressive tour guide skills will pique your curiosity.
Joe explained that his love for the art form is due in part to his Pittsburgh, PA, roots and the fact that a lot of his friends growing up were into tagging. He and his buddies randomly stumbled upon the downtown artwork 10 years ago and have been regularly coming back to view it ever since.
Joe walked us through a few of his favorite pieces, including one featuring a pack of wolves (naturally) and an entire wall full of work by Mister Cartoon.

Blair Redford is the kind of name meant for someone destined to become a Hump Day Hottie. Sure, unfolding the mystery of "The Lying Game" on ABC Family has us tuning in every week, but so does Blair's dark good looks, which is why we're naming him this week's Hump Day Hottie.
Check out this dreamy photo of Blair, and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Blair grew up in Hotlanta (that's Atlanta, Georgia, for those of you who don't know), and the 28-year-old has quite an interesting past. When he wasn't busy dazzling people on the tennis court, he was working at the Renaissance Festival. Yes, he once had a job that required him to wear tights. His character? Brace yourself for this! A pirate named RUSTY COMPASS. Enough. Said.
