Brenda Song and Trace Cyrusby Catherine Fuentes

Do two former Mouse House starlets expecting babies officially make 2011 (er, make that 2012!) a Disney Channel baby boom?

Brenda Song, who is best known for her starring role on "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and her big-screen turn in "The Social Network," is reportedly expecting her first child with Trace Cyrus, E! News has confirmed. And yes, Cyrus, as in Miley Cyrus' big brother, who once played in the band Metro Station.

No official announcement has been made yet by either Brenda or Trace. The couple, who've been dating for more than a year, are notorious for keeping their relationships under wraps, so we're anxiously awaiting the first shots of Brenda with her new baby bump!

Pretty Little LiarsMy own must confess: During the nearly two seasons we've followed the misadventures of Rosewood's four "Pretty Little Liars," I have never felt so much dread or anxiety during an episode; it was clear from the opening moments, that A wouldn't be pulling any punches.

The episode began with a sleepless Emily receiving a 3 a.m. text, which sent her fleeing Hanna's house, sans cell phone. What followed was a scene straight out of AMC's "The Killing": Emily running alone through an abandoned wood, seemingly trying to evade some assailant. When the remaining liars convened later that morning to investigate Em's disappearance, they found the text in question: a photo of Aria making out with Ezra and instructions for Emily to spill the secret to Ella if she ever wanted to be off the hook. The text, coupled with Emily's swift departure, led the girls to make probably the most logical decision they've made in the history of this delicious series—they headed for their therapist's office.

Fame: Suzanne CollinsWhat a day for "Hunger Games" news! First came the announcement that the debut teaser for our most hotly anticipated flick of 2012 will premiere at this Sunday's VMAs, and now we can happily report that author Suzanne Collins is the latest bold-faced name to get the Bluewater Comics treatment.

Fan favorite authors Stephenie Meyer and J.K. Rowling have received similar honors, but what makes Suzanne's comic book bio special to Hollywood Crush is that it was written by our good friend Sara Gundell over at The Hunger Games Examiner.

"It's fascinating to see how Collins' own life helped influence and shape the books that would one day make her famous the world over," Sara said in a press release. "With 'The Hunger Games' movie coming out in 2012, her following is only going to grow."

BloodlinesBy now, most dedicated "Vampire Academy" fans have picked up their copy of the first book in Richelle Mead's spin-off series, "Bloodlines." But there are, no doubt, a bunch of readers on the fence, either because they're not "VA" addicts, or they're such addicts, they're not sure they'll be able to stomach a whole series focused on human alchemist Sydney and her dealings with other secondary "VA" characters.

We at Hollywood Crush have decided it's not our place to decide for you, even though we're going to declare "Bloodlines" our Summer Beach Read of the week. Instead, here are what other reviewers on the Web had to say about it:

The Power of Six"They tried to catch Number Four in Ohio...and failed. I am Number Seven. And I’m ready to fight."

Thus concludes the synopsis for Pittacus Lore's second "Lorien Legacies" novel, "The Power of Six," which hits bookstore shelves today. The novel picks up where the preceding "I Am Number Four" left off, with the titular Number Four (John), Number Six and Sam on the run after a deadly confrontation with the enemy Mogadorians.

John is once again a central focus in this second effort from co-authors James Frey and Jobie Hughes (who use the pen name Pittacus Lore), but the novel also introduces us to Number Seven, a young woman named Marina living in Spain, whose protectors may not have her best interests at heart.

In anticipation of the novel's release, we were granted an audience (via email, that is) with author/Lorien elder Pittacus Lore himself, who (very succinctly) answered a few of our burning questions. Read our entire interview after the jump!

Hilary Duffby Catherine Fuentes

It's been a pretty eventful August for Hilary Duff. Hot on the heels of celebrating her one-year wedding anniversary to hockey player Mike Comrie and announcing her pregnancy, word came today from The Hollywood Reporter that Hilary will not star as Bonnie Parker in the upcoming indie flick "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde," set to film later this year.

While the rumor mill initially speculated that Hilary dropped out due to her pregnancy, the flick's producers told Entertainment Weekly that's not the case, and that it was simply a scheduling conflict. Turns out Clyde (i.e. "Gossip Girl" actor Kevin Zegers) is out, as well. (Here's hoping that "Georgetown" TV series actually happens so we can get our Kevin fix.)

Anyway...with vacant seats in Bonnie and Clyde's getaway car, we thought we'd cast a couple beautiful blonds to fill Hilary's handcuffs. Check out our picks for Bonnie after the jump!

Will Elena Gilbert's 18th birthday truly be a happy one? Only the residents of Mystic Falls know for sure, but judging from the batch of newly released stills from "The Vampire Diaries"' season three premiere, "The Birthday," we're not breaking out the balloons and noisemakers just yet.

Indeed, these nine new images paint an intriguing picture of Elena's big day. First, we meet new cast member "7th Heaven" alum David Gallagher, who plays a werewolf named Ray Sutton. From an earlier casting announcement, we know he has a heated run-in with Klaus, which is definitely supported by the intimidating (yet also, alarmingly, hot) pose actor Joseph Morgan is striking here. Klaus, you can poke us anytime!

The Lying GameAre you addicted yet? Two episodes in, and "The Lying Game" is giving sister series "Pretty Little Liars" stiff competition in the secrets department. And we love it.

With Sutton's laptop mysteriously stolen at the end of last week's episode, Emma was left with little guidance as she continued to impersonate her twin sister. The latest wrinkle? The annual father-daughter dance (because every teen series must have its fill of hokey town events). While Emma is a pro on the tennis court, she clearly has two left feet in the ballroom. After an awkward turn around the kitchen with Sutton's dad, frustrated Emma fled to her room to pack and run away. Until Ethan emerged from the window (not weird at all) and convinced her to stay.

Cody HornFor the past few months, we've breathlessly reported any and all casting news related to the mantastic stripper movie "Magic Mike," starring the taut torsos of Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey and Matt Bomer. And so it is with equal diligence (though slightly less enthusiasm) that we relay the latest. Namely, someone with XX chromosomes has joined the cast.

IndieWIRE's Playlist reports that up-and-comer Cody Horn has joined the cast as Alex's sister and love interest to Channing. (Lucky lady!) The young actress has appeared on episodes of "The Office" and "Rescue Me," and she's got plenty of projects coming up including the Saoirse Ronan-Alexis Bledel-starring "Violet & Daisy" and Jake Gyllenhaal's "End of Watch."
