Summit Entertainment has released a slew of stills from "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," and they're all wet. Well, at least a few of them.
For many rabid Twilighters, these images (largely of Bella and Edward on their honeymoon) are nothing new—they were featured in Entertainment Weekly's Fall Movie Preview issue released last week.
But! If you didn't get your sticky fingers on a print copy of the magazine, you may have missed a few of these seeing as they didn't make EW's online gallery. Like, for instance, this streaky shot of Edward (Robert Pattinson) taking Bella (Kristen Stewart) on a moonlit motorboat ride during their honeymoon, or another of Bella emerging (laughing!) from a body of water (most likely before or after the newlyweds hungrily clutch each other in that smokin' image on the magazine's cover).

You'd think having played one of England's most celebrated female authors (that'd be Jane Austen for those of you who skipped third period English), Anne Hathaway would have no trouble affecting a proper English accent on command. But that's so not the case.
When MTV News sat down with Anne and co-star Jim Sturgess to talk about their big-screen adaptation of David Nicholls' best-selling romance, "One Day" (set in the land of tea and crumpets and hot ginger princes), Miss Hathaway jokingly agreed to show off her dialect skills. "Hello, MTV! How's it going?" she exclaimed in her best Cockney accent—a far cry from the more subtle one she uses in the film.
"I just insulted, by the way, an entire nation of people," she added in her American accent.
"I feel all right about it," co-star Jim chimed in.

Hungry fans of "The Hunger Games" still have a long, lean seven months before they can sink their teeth into the hotly anticipated film version of the dystopian series...but for the literary contingent, here's a nice little halfway appetizer! Scholastic is set to release a special collector's edition of "The Hunger Games"—in which we first attend The Reaping, set foot in the arena and meet the future revolutionaries of Panem—for $30 this November. And man, is it pretty.

The collector's edition features new, original Mockingjay artwork, foil stamping and a special protective slipcase to house the priceless story within. And it also has a posh cloth cover, the better to rub your face against while crying hot, bitter tears of frustration at the very, very long wait still to come before "The Hunger Games" hits theaters in March 2012.
Not that we would ever do that.
In public.

If you thought Vicki's return to the "The Vampire Diaries" was going to be a peaceful one, guess again. While death may have tamed her, Casper the Friendly Ghost she most certainly is not.
Yesterday we caught up with Vicki's real-life alter ego Kayla Ewell to chat about her guest appearance on "The Glades" (airing Sunday at 10 p.m./ 9 C on A&E) and talk inevitably turned to our favorite CW series and, more specifically, how Vicki has changed since joining the after-life and how her return will affect Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen).
"Did death reform her? Of course it did. But it didn’t change her completely," Kayla said. "I’m still going to be a little bit of the trouble-maker, and I kind of just don’t know any other way to be."

"Magic Mike," the cinematic beefcake extravaganza about the secret, sordid world of male strippers, just got even beefier! The latest casting news, courtesy of Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, is that Matthew McConaughey and Matt Bomer have joined the film's growing stable of man-meat.

Matt B. has been cast as a working boy within the troupe, which also includes Alex Pettyfer and Channing Tatum; Matthew M. will play a retired stripper who owns the club where said gentlemen do their nudie dancing. (Not exactly a reach for an actor who spends 99 percent of his waking hours walking around topless, anyway.)

Evan Rachel Wood fans are already well aware of the 23-year-old's singing talents. As are those who've seen the romancey Beatles cover fest that is "Across The Universe." What you might not know is that Evan is a total Justin Bieber fan. And does a pretty awesome cover of "U Smile." Check out the YouTube video for proof.
When I caught up with Evan recently to discuss the DVD release of period drama "The Conspirator," I had to ask about the impromptu karaoke performance, and how the online video came to be.
"That started off as a joke," she said, adding that she also did some Janis Joplin, for good measure. "Just doing the song and putting the video up, it wasn’t planned," she explained. "I was doing karaoke and I just wanted people to lighten up. You don’t have to take yourself seriously all the time. It’s okay to have fun," she said. "You can be Justin Bieber if you want."

Jim Sturgess has everything one needs to be a Hump Day Hottie. He’s multi-talented, good looking, makes great flicks and happens to be in the one movie opening this weekend that we’re excited to see, "One Day." So, that’s why this week he’s our Hump Day Hottie.
Check out this dreamy photo of Jim, and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Doing research on Jim made us swoon over him even more. The 30-year-old Brit studied his craft at University of Salford's School of Media, Music and Performance. He then wrote, produced and starred in a one-man act based on—wait for it—his own poetry. He’s also been in some bands. So he does it all. Enough said, right? He also has super-cool taste in ladies. His girl is Mickey O'Brien. You know, from the band La Roux.

Elizabeth Banks may have been walking the red carpet for the premiere of her comedy "Our Idiot Brother," but you better believe there were plenty of journalists on hand last night with a marked "Hunger" for scoop of another variety. Yes, that was our veiled attempt at telling you we made sure to ask the pretty star about her turn as escort Effie Trinket in "The Hunger Games" adaptation, currently in production.
One of the things we were dying to know is how it's been working with co-star Woody Harrelson, who plays fellow District 12 representative Haymitch Abernathy.
"So far, so good," she said. "We've only had one day together. We spend the next couple weeks together, but it's pretty fun."
In fact, it sounds like the entire filming process has been a great one for Elizabeth.

Is it Mona? Or Jenna? How about the newly introduced "T.N.A. Club"? Whomever it is, I think we can all agree that the true identity of A on ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars" is one of the best-kept secrets in Hollywood. Just how under wraps is it? Author Sara Shepard, who penned the popular book series on which the TV show is based, doesn't even know who A is!
When we spoke with Sara recently in anticipation of her other book-to-television adaptation, "The Lying Game," we just had to ask if she knew the face behind Rosewood's mysterious texting thumbs. (Reports have indicated that the TV series' A will likely be different than the books'.)

Between keeping tabs on casting decisions and obsessing over Josh Hutcherson's pretty blond dye job, many "Hunger Games" fans hadn't given a whole lot of thought to what the movie would sound like. But composer T-Bone Burnett has, and last night, he revealed some exciting information about the music for the much-anticipated motion picture: Jennifer Lawrence, a.k.a. Katniss Everdeen herself, stepped into the studio and recorded a song to grace the film's soundtrack.
The song in question? "Rue's Lullaby," sung by Katniss in a heart-rending scene that takes place in the arena... and we won't say anything more, since we're practically weeping just thinking about it. And with the prettiness of Jennifer Lawrence's voice confirmed, we can probably hope for a similar musical treat when it comes time for "Mockingjay"! (The literate fans of the series should know what we're talking about; the rest of you will just have to wait.) But hey, why should Katniss get all the glory on the film's soundtrack? We've come up with three more musical entries (all in good fun!) that totally deserve some space within the score, and we can only hope that we'll be lucky enough to hear...
