When we heard the news that Zac Efron had signed on to appear in a college-themed Seth Rogen movie, our opening day attendance was pretty much solidified. Never mind the fact that the film has no title or release date.

And thanks to a recent chat with Seth himself, our curiosity is even further piqued, in that we now know our favorite blue-eyed, former teen star fully intends to "sully" his squeaky clean, boy-next-door image with what Seth teased as a shocking performance.

"He was really looking to be sullied, which is why we thought it would be a good idea," Seth told MTV News of how Zac came to be involved in the film. "I've met him a few times over the years and the first thing you get from him is that he knows that a guy like me would probably hate him, and he works directly to counteract that feeling, which shows an amount of self awareness that is not prevalent among many young stars these days that I've met at award shows recently. And I think that's why I thought it would be really funny, he seemed like he was a really cool guy, that he'd be fun to work with and seemed that he was capable of much more than the Disney stuff we've seen him in."

All week long, we've been highlighting Hollywood's hottest up-and-comers, inducting 10 special stars-in-the-making into our New Class. Today we draw our feature to a close, but not before honoring two lovely ladies who've got big things on the horizon. Please welcome Sarah Gadon and Shailene Woodley to The New Class!

Sarah may not be a household name just yet, but after her starring turn alongside Robert Pattinson in the 2012 David Cronenberg flick, "Cosmopolis," we're pretty sure guys and (potentially jealous) girls alike will have her name on the tip of their tongues for years to come.

If you're a fan of "The Suite Life on Deck" star Debby Ryan, you best tune into Disney Channel tonight for the premiere of Debby's brand-new series, "Jessie."

Miss Ryan stars as the titular Jessie, an 18-year-old New York City newbie who suddenly finds herself nannying for a family of four very diverse children living in a posh Manhattan penthouse. With an eight-foot lizard. Eeek!

We spoke with Debby recently about her new role.

"The character of Jessie—I wanted her to be cool, and I wanted her to be relatable," explained Debby, who is also a producer on the show. "There's this balance between a little intangible, like someone you really want to hang out with all the time but not someone who couldn't exist in this world. So I think we really nailed that with Jessie."

Sometimes, the badder you are, the better you look. Don't believe us? Just ask this week's Style Superstars, who eschewed all things frilly and innocent at their respective movie premieres and rocked a pair of looks inspired by Hollywood's vampiest villainesses. Which fairy-tale heroine sported duds worthy of a sexy evil step-mama? And whose bad-girl style went just a tad too far for comfort? Check it!

Taylor Lautner might be headlining his first non-"Twilight" feature film "Abduction," but it's pretty little Lily Collins who stole the style scene at the film's premiere. This week's Style Superstar was decked out in a sleek Chanel peplum dress in deep blue-black taffeta, paired with high patent heels and sported minimal makeup beneath those signature dark dramatic brows. And while Lily will be playing Snow White in an upcoming adaptation of the classic fairytale, this look is straight from the closet of her evil archnemesis: sultry, sophisticated and so pretty it's poisonous.

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Kristen Stewart proved that she was the fiercest of them all by donning a bulky suit of armor on the set of "Snow White and the Huntsman" earlier this week. And now she's providing amble evidence that she also deserves the age-old title, fairest of them all.

In a series of new pics snapped on the Welsh set yesterday, the 21-year-old is seen showing off her snow white skin in a completely gorgeous (albeit soaking wet) corseted brown and silver gown, finished with loose, slightly wavy locks. It's a majestic look perfectly befitting her position atop a beautiful ivory equine.

Vampire Diariesby Ryan J. Downey

Saint Stefan is dead! Long live bad-boy, Originals hang-around, "ripper" Stefan!

With so many revelations in last night's brilliantly constructed and altogether thrilling season three stunner, "The End of the Affair," the central love triangle that is the driving engine behind "The Vampire Diaries" shifted in a major way.

Hollywood Crush and a small handful of television reporters were invited to a Q&A session with passionate and clever executive producer Julie Plec, who dished about all of the thrills and chills in the third episode of the third season. The revelation of why Klaus wants Stefan around; the introduction of another Original with blood ties to Klaus and a romantic past with Stefan; Stefan's secret Chicago lair and creepily recorded body count; Stefan's brutal sendoff of Elena…

Chris EvansFor anyone who has seen the trailers for this week's new romantic comedy "What's Your Number?", you will not be disappointed should you decide to make the trip to the theater to see it. The film isn't exactly breaking any new ground in the genre, but for those of us who love everything about rom-coms—from their delightful implausibility to their cheeky cliches—you'll enjoy what "Number?" has to offer, especially its ridiculously charming stars Anna Faris and Chris Evans, the latter of whom spends a nice chunk of his screen time sans clothing (not that being half naked makes a man charming, but you know what I mean).

MTV News recently caught up with the film's screenwriters, Gabrielle Allen and Jennifer Crittenden, to get the inside scoop on why Anna is perfect in this role, what a woman's "number" really means and how they got Chris to take off his clothes so much.

Secret Circleby Ryan J. Downey

Horror movie folks should never say, "I'll be right back." And witches should never walk alone.

That's the big lesson from last night's episode of "The Secret Circle." Last week the six teen witches bound their powers together, which means they've got no mojo by themselves, but two or more together is super-magically delicious.

There's nothing like a stubbly stalker to drive a group of people together who have spent the entire afternoon trying to stay apart. Chance Harbor fisherman Zachary Larson arrives to terrorize the Circle, hunting them down one by one in abandoned houses and dark school hallways before they eventually unite to save themselves at the school dance.

The '80s slasher movie vibe of last night's episode was a treat and a great reminder of executive producer Kevin Williamson's involvement in the show. Before he created "Dawson's Creek," he was the mastermind behind "Scream." He wrote "I Know What You Did Last Summer," too, so he's no stranger to making a teenager-stalking fisherman scary.

Vampire Diariesby Cassie Title

This is a love story. A sick, slightly twisted love story, but a love story all the same.

There once was a vampire boy named Stefan, who spent the 1920s in a Chicago speakeasy, flirting with the ladies, hanging with a witch and drinking all of the patrons' blood. One day, he met a girl named Rebecca. She was beautiful, quick-witted and mysterious. The vampire boy had found a vampire girl.

They spent their time together, dancing and drinking victims' blood, then making out, then licking their victims' blood off of each others' lips. And then she introduced him to her brother.

Nik (as Klaus was going by in those days—his full name is Niklaus, remember?) grew to like Stefan's nauseating cruelty (can we discuss how he forced some dude to drink his wife's blood in a wine glass?) and Stefan's obvious enchantment with him. And so they became friends, countrymen, brothers.
